Do they really need to be on at all times? Other than safety!would it help my economy if I unplugged them! GAS isn't getting any cheaper! I also would like to let other cub owners know there is a issue with seatbracket bolts being too long! They go through the bracket into the GASTANK! I solved problem with washers!I discovered this problem when a hairpin fell out on the deck! Other than that she has treated me well SOOO Far! 60 hrs and counting!

Good tip for the seat attachments. You wouldn't see any measurable fuel economy gains by turning off the headlamps. My bets are CC went to the full on headlamps for 2 reasons. 1) is cheaper than running a switch, relay, etc.. 2) It's helps the safety image a bit. My 2544 looks like it's *winking*. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I've had one blown headlamp since about 20hrs. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

dqdave1 - Good idea. Did you just extend the headlight wires and use an inline switch, or a relay off of another hot source?

Thanks!

Picked up a switch rated at 20 amps and and looped the hot lead to the lights through the switch. Took about an hour to do.
