For me TBN means helping others and getting help. There are so many different ways to do something and through this site you can find them all.

... Now get posting! ;)
New to the forum and think you have a great thing going. Can't wait to get into some of the different areas. (Haven't gone much past the Kioti threads where I've already been helped tremendously).

Also plan on checking out CountryByNet.

Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks, PWR

TBN and me:
Offered advice in finding a tractor... Opinions on pricing... helped determine attachments... good laughs... calm me down when the "strange" noise is really "normal"... Place to learn from others mistakes so I won't make them... really good laughs... Good people... New things and ideas... and the lingering question in the back of my mind every time I now talk with a farmer or see a guy on a tractor - "Do I know you by some other name?".

What a great community!

Here's to the next million posts.

Like many other people I stumbled upon TBN when I was researching the purchase of my first tractor. It didn’t take long to realize that TBN’ers would be invaluable in helping me make the right decision. What I did not realize was that they would be even more invaluable in the day-by-day operation of my Kubota B7800.

What makes TBN so unique is that you do not have to wait days or weeks to get a response. If you ask a question you will most often get multiple answers within hours. This does not happen anywhere else on the NET.

Finding TBN for me is like opening a present at Christmas and finding it is exactly what I want. I think I joined shortly before my tractor purchase in early 2001. In the time since, I've built a house, got married, met many new friends through TBN, and shared experiences and ideas with many long-distance friends. I hope I've added a bit of cheer, because TBN has certainly enriched my life.

Thank you Muhammad, Hakim, Ibrahim and all. What a pleasure and honor it is to be part of this great success that TBN is and continues to be.

Congratualtions on such a wonderful site!

TyPhoon told me about this place a few years ago and I know I've learned alot from this place and hopefully shared a few good pieces of information as well.

Where else could I go to find fast and useful help with repairs, maintenance, implement uses and some just plain good entertaiment at times. I often find myself awful busy fabricating because of that darn Do-It-Yourself thread!

TBN
I found the Web site by mistake, the story of my life.
I read the posts about Kubota, and could not stop reading. I soon came
to realize after I read the other posts about other tractors. That no one
knocking the others tractors, that the people posting were the real Americans, (plus one Auzzie) it renewed my faith in America and that Rush
was right. I have enjoyed reading the threads and a kudos to Timber for the thread he started about "wetlands". I check TBN several times a day
I did recieve a reply from N80 about litter, but could not reply because something timed out. I think it is the greatest thing since canned beer!
and I am looking forward to reading more in the future and maybe I'll get
over the shyness and start replying.

What Tractorbynet.com means to me. Probably nothing that hasn't already been said by others, but:

(1) Friends.

When I first visited, I was just looking for some general information about Kubota tractors and found it, but never thought about making as many new friends as I've made here.

(2) Information.

Information about tractors to start with, but now TBN has grown to have great members from nearly every profession or occupation I can think of who are willing to share their expertise on nearly any topic imaginable, from tractors to medicine and everything in between. It's hard to imagine a question about anything that I wouldn't start by asking the TBN membership.

(3) Entertainment.

I love to laugh at others' dumb mistakes; probably because I've made the same (or worse) mistakes myself.

(4) Wonderful People.

I don't know of anywhere in the world you could find a finer bunch of people than TBN members; starting with the incredible Muhammad and Ibrahim who keep this website running so smoothly.

There's no doubt that Tractorbynet is going to be around for many years to come and can only continue to grow.

I remember the first time TBN came across my screen.........I said to myself,hmmm........this place looks strangely familiar, like I've been here before...........turned out I was not crazy, but had been here before under a different name. Same Guy ran it,and the professionalism of the place has always been top notch, while being fair and honest to all posters. Which is no small feat in itself. TBN has survived and flourished, where other sites have crashed and burned............some even tried to charge you to post, then kept the copyrights to your answers. I've not seen any site out there that can compare to the number of places it is posted about on other forums. If you want answers on CUTs there is only one place on the net to venture to for what you seek........not too shabby for other tractor info too! Vive la TBN.....Hope my French is better then normaly.........keep up the good work guys!

I have learned so much from the great folks on TBN. I come here five days a week (only at work:) too busy on weekends)
Where else can you find true down to earth folks. A place where flamming is just unheard of. I have built three implements so far from pictures or info from TBN members. There is no other place on the net that has so much information on just about anything.
I am glad to be part of such membership.

THANKS TO MUHAMMED AND IBRAHIM! Thanks also to your families for helping support this board.

Thanks to the Moderators and long term posters that have shared so much knowledge over the years. I miss many of those that have stopped posting but I understand some of their frustratons having to often argue their points or tiny semantics usually.

I have been a TractorbyNet Junkie for years now. I spend at least 6-8 hours on line weekly. Its the 1st and last place I look when surfing. All this on dialup too. I would go through a severe depression if I didn't have my TractorByNet!

As many move to the country and find a need for a tractor, they usually find this site which now has 1,000,000 posts full of knowledge. Funny how tractors have created a common bond between so many good folks.

Tractorbynet is something that has become a part of my "routine" in my daily life. I check for any new/updated topics, posts, etc. while at both work and at home! Sometimes I check several times a day! Maybe the members here can work on forming a tractorbynetaholics group!

Special thanks to the creator, moderators, and most importantly, the sponsors that keep it free to all of us.

This is a quote from one of my many posts that pretty much sums up what this site has been about,

"Hopefully I have not driven anyone nuts with these posts but I did it with the intentions on showing anyone who was interested in such project. This site has been helpful to me and hopefully I can return that assistance to someone else."

To the admin., fellow "tractor brothers".....thank you, Joe.

I found TBN when I first started thinking about getting a tractor. Signed up and have been checking in on almost a daily basis ever since. Learned more here about CUTs than I ever expected, including:

How to convince the chief financial officer a tractor is needed
What to look for when shopping
How to negotiate at the dealer
Answers to "What am I doing wrong"
Researching ideas for modifications
Sharing experiences, good and bad

And just knowing if I have a question, its just a click away to an answer.

Great job on a fun discussion board, keep up the good work.

TBN

Totally Bodacious Net-neighbors

Thanking Buddies Nonstop

Thinking Beyond New

Tractor Better Now (to be said caveman style)

and the list goes on....

Where was I before TBN? A lot further away than where I'm at now. I still think TBN should rent a a hu-mung-loid building, and have everybody show up for some good ol' Tractor fun....and I think we all know what that means..

But seriously, even if you don't own a tractor, this is still the place to be for just general knowledge of life itself. So many teachers, thinkers, students, and ideas.....sheeeesh...the ideas alone are worth comin to this site.

I'm no expert, but if there ever was a overall best of the web site to be on, TBN has got my vote!

Thanks to one and all who make this site a pleasure to come and "lurk" and to also participate!

Sincerely,
Steve
