What size rod & main bearings did you install ?? The pistons the same as the old one ??

Sounds correct. Were clearances measured before installation?

Could the engine have to much compression that you cannot over come. Try turning it with the spark plugs out to releave compression.

Is it in neutral?

no spark plugs in and it still wont turn, is it possible for a connecting rod to get cockeyed?

it is just in the frame its not connected to the transmission just sitting in the frame no spark plugs in it either and it is still froze, it has new bearings and sleeves and pistons, could a connecting rod be in slightly wrong?

Could be a connecting rod installed backwards (180degrees out) or too tight of fit on the parts.

Rods and caps are numbered, as I'm sure you know, and numbers should face the camshaft side. Did you put a bit of oil on the bearings before installing..?? The rods caps and bolts are normally a pretty snug fit, so thinking it would be tough to be mis-aligned.

Is the cam and crankshaft timing mark(s) in proper alignment..?? Maybe try loosening the valve train assy., then see if the engine will turn over.

Was the crank turned, and machine shop supply the bearings, or bought in a kit..??
