I'm learning fast and a receiver hitch welded or bolted to the trailer is now my plan. I can get the Badlands winch cradle with a stub adaptor for a receiver hitch so that will work fine. Does anyone have pictures of what they have or what they have built for the receiver hitch on the trailer?

That's a good idea. The old style Earthway fertilizer attachment had a foot on it that fed the fertilizer down through the aluminum vee opener. This style isn't made any longer but I have one and have used it to fertilize sweet corn for years. It works great. Sometimes you see them at auctions...

I do recall those cupped washers on my Woods mower. I recall changing them frequently. Maybe once or twice a year and not sure why I did it. Might be worth looking onto. Blades don't either 100% slip or 100% not slip but rather slip a little here and there. I could see that look from slipping...

At this point, it wouldn't hurt to call Woods and talk with a tech guy or engineer for ideas. I occasionally have called companies when I have a problem or can't figure out something on their product and they have been overly helpful to me.

A guy I know that sells Reznor gave me a number to go on for full installation while another guy that sells Lennox gave me one as well. Lennox was $500 less than Reznor and I figured it would be the reverse. That's where I'm at so far.

I've found I don't need to go down the 6" and less will do if I clean out some of the wood chips and replace with dirt. I've also found that I can pile the wood chips on smooth ground with no grass and rake smooth. Wait for rain and it washes all the dirt out of the mix and I can then rake up...
