I bought an overriding clutch pto attachment. Takes care of any pto issues plus I needed a 6” extension. $85 from Amazon. Works great with my flail - you can hear it spinning down for almost a minute from full speed after I kill the engine.

Look for “bx” belts sometimes called a power band (2/3/4 v belts in one almost like an htd/timing belt). Prevents worrying about matching a set.

For hst power loss also be sure you don’t have a remote stuck ON. Caused me a lot of problems for about 1/2 hour. Someone on a FB site burned up their entire hydraulic system, $5k to fix.

Search for BARECO as a pto shield. They have a great design for being able to easily grease the u joints (biggest problem with a pto shaft cover!). Consider a hydraulic top link. They are fabulous but of course you need rear remote, hose, and top link. Otherwise just buy a longer one at TSC etc.
