Help needed please!
Son in law has a KUBOTA BX1880.
looking for an attachment he can put on his 3 point rear in which he has a trailer ball so he can just back up under the ball and lift trailer up.
What do I need to get him?, also is it a universal attachment or BX1880 specific? Thanks for your help. 👍😊

Any cat 1 implement should work. Tractor supply probably has one which should be suitable for a tractor that size. Don't expect it to move the 30' travel trailer though.

Two main options...
Buy a 3ph drawbar (with the holes, about $20 at TSC) and mount a trailer ball on it..get one of the kits that adds a locking arm on the drawbar that keeps it from spinning....or...

Buy the same basic thing fabricated with a Reese block hitch...

or a clamp-on trailer hitch for the bucket, or drill a hole in the bucket and put a ball of the appropriate size in it. will obviously depend on how much weight is on the trailer and how far he needs to move it.

That seems like a really bad idea for a tractor that has a FEL capacity of ~600lbs at the pins.

Does the BX have position control on the 3PH? I use my smallest CUT (<2k lbs) for hostling trailers. (FEL cap <800 lb) None (car/tractor hauler, 6x10 ramp-gate, etc) have a tongue weight that tips the tractor with LR or blade on the 3PH vs a serious counterweight. Need at least something for using the FEL anyway and the LR stays on 'Red' for grading vs swapping out for a draw-bar.

I drilled two holes in the bucket and bolt the balls to short extensions so trailer tongues don't foul on the lip and I can tip the ball up to line it up to connect when looking over the hood. (Actually have two b'cuz I keep losing one) Two 7/16" bolts to attach. All trailers are hitched to the towing vehicle when loaded or unloaded. Here's the one I could find. (second attempt at pic upload)

If you’ve looked lately they are more like $40 and the stabilizers are 30-50 on Amazon or TSC. For that just buy one like this, ready to go.
