    Move GC2360 snowblower from GC2300 to GC1725

Thanks JWR, Am currently thinking I will just have a couple hoses made at the local hydraulic joint. Just need to figure the size. I have tried to get into the AGCO parts site as guest the last couple days but was having issues. Lou

    Move GC2360 snowblower from GC2300 to GC1725

To All, I recently re-tasked my 20 year old GC2300 and purchased a GC1725 and want to use my GC2360 snowblower on the new tractor. From what I have seen, the 2360 fits all GC series tractors (basically the front hitch and drive shaft) but I am looking for an adapter to go from the old GC2300...

What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

3 Point Float Lock On my old GC2300, I used a small bunji to keep my 3pt in full float. I added this 3 point float lock on my new GC 1725. Simple but effective.

Time for GC2300 to be put out to pasture. Maybe an MF1725?

jeepcj7 II very seldom use the loader by itself. The rear k blade is usually on. I did add a float lock for the 3pt.. When I am mowing with the the rear mower or tiller, I like the (well require) the 3pt to be able to float up and down. I used heavy duty dual sided tape because I am not sure...

Quick Hitch for my new GC1725

I have looked at these in the past but realized if I wanted it to truly be "quick", I would have to purchase the implement side for each implement. As you mentioned, this can get pricey. I do like the self aligning concept because there are times when I wish I had another person to help hook up...

Time for GC2300 to be put out to pasture. Maybe an MF1725?

I did use the SSQA to remove the bucket for mowing. Although I do like the location of the FEL joystick I kept reaching for the old one. Takes time to teach an old dog a new trick. One thing I am disappointed about is the lack of schematics in the manual (unless I am missing them). With all the...

Quick Hitch for my new GC1725

I have partially retired my GC2300 (it still has work to do) and I just started looking for a quick attach setup. My 2300 has had Pat's system on it since not long after day 1. I have seen plenty of messages regarding quick attach systems over the years but I have just started searching so...

I am taking my old GC2300 to a different property where it will be used under more rugged conditions (brushhogging, moving downed trees etc.) and have been looking at this cover but geesh...6 months for delivery...and modifications. Mine has the OEM version u-guard which was added by my dealer...

Time for GC2300 to be put out to pasture. Maybe an MF1725?

Picked up a new GC 1725 on Friday. Not much different than the my old 2300 to operate but a few updates. I was able to have my dealer put on a used folding ROPS from a tractor that has the backhoe. I mowed with it yesterday and appreciated the seat comfort compared to my old 2300. This thing...

    MF 2300

I think this may have been mentioned before, but do you have any way to measure current? A current clamp-on feeding a multi-meter is easiest (IMHO). You don't have to put it in the circuit. Also most multi-meters do not have the capability to measure something approaching or exceeding 40 amps...

    MF 2300

I looked at the schematic I sent to refresh my memory. Other than the smaller fuses, the 40 Amp fuse's main point is to feed the starter and the glow plugs. So if you have confidence in starter, I would check resistance across the starter when cold and hot also to ground. The glow plugs...

ALWAYS check security of pto connection. if in doubt call someone.

Dmacleo, I had made ramps to back over the mower which leaves the collar on the pto. I then remove the collar if my brain is functioning. In this situation I left the collar on and didn't switch to the rear pto to till the garden. When I engaged the pto...well the rest is obvious. I worked...

My solution for 3PT float on my GC1700

This lack of being able to keep in float has been one of my contentions for some time. I came up with several designs and decided in the mean time to use a short bunji cord, which is still on there. Other priorities I guess. Lou

    MF 2300

Hello, Unfortunately my tractor is normally stored outside and the tether for the plastic ignition switch cover broke early on. scut ride comfort while mowing, R4 vs turf vs R14

Digging trench for PVC water line, advice on potential obstacles

So I use the backhoe to dig out 8 feet at each end of the trench (because I was using 8 foot pieces). This works best with a helper. Run the trencher through a couple times just to break things up a bit if needed (I hit some hard pan on my last one and ended up having my helper stand on the...

I use this for running pipe underground. Removed the foot, drilled a hole and added some metal straps to connect the pipe.
