Fritz, Just use a larger cut off wheel on the grinder. I frequently run a 7” zip disc on my 4 1/2” grinder. Just be mindful that the larger wheels are usually rated for less speed. I used to use a HF speed control before I got the Masterforce variable speed grinder from Menards.
