For $3000 I would snap it up. I have a 1530 and it's a beast.

The baler weighs 25000 lbs, makes a 4 ft by 3 ft square bale and requires 250 hp to operate. The 7810 hooked to it is on the dealer lot and was the only tractor they had that would pull it off the trailer used to transport the baler from the farm.

I heard on the news this afternoon that Ford is closing the long operated Cleveland engine plant, as well as a nearby casting plant, by the year 2009. 2000 jobs lost. My father worked there in the early 60's, an uncle worked there at one time as well.

There's no TSC in Blacksburg. There is one in Christiansburg, however.

NH now has a tiny amount of info on their site, T2410 is shares engine (55) and PTO HP (47) with the TC55. The T2420 is 60 engine HP and 51 PTO HP. Both T24x0 tractors are MFWD only.

Local NH dealer has several TT's on the lot, saw the new 45 and 50 for the first time today. Same chassis as the TT60A, but with Shibaura 4 cyl. diesels instead of the Fiat/Iveco engines.

TractorData.com now has a manufacturer chart showing the mergers and acquisitions over the years. The CNH and AGCO portions are particularly interesting. Unfortunately, the chart is too large to print out.

Check the Massey forum for owner comments there, just find out what the comparable MF model is, they are the same tractor.

New Holland has the new TL series loaaders on their website now. I noticed they list lift capacity at the pins as well as 19.7 in. on the compacts, this should allow better comparison with other brands which list only the most favorable capacity.

The compacts are the same to the best of my knowledge, there may be some minor differences that I'm not aware of though.

2001-2004 is all I could find.
