What is some of your Pet Peeve's

People deliberately messing with you in traffic. I'm taking wife to doctor an hour ago. All is well and a bit of road construction. No workers, just 10 orange traffic cones where there's 30 feet of gravel. Idiot in front of us STOPS! So I lightly tap the horn. Now two people flipping us...

    Which jumper cables

Fifty years ago I helped a stranded young lady home, both of us driving Chevy Novas (67&70). Her alternator quit...no cables. Bumpers touch & coat hangers + to +. She would go a couple miles on battery, pull over, jump, start, repeat. It took five times but it worked & she got home safely...

    Which jumper cables

In picture looks like comes with wire ends. Attaching to copper wire I'd be sure about 3/4" or so insulation stripped off, wire & connectors clean, flux, solder (60/40) "tin" both then solder together. Hammer clamp ends over wire. You want as low resistance, good tight connection possible. I'd...

Is it too soon to talk about Crypto yet?

    Tractor fire sale?

Certainly wouldn't hurt to have a second set of eyes with you. Friend, another mechanic, etc. To me...it may be fine...but I try seeing it from the dealer's standpoint. If heat caused no damage and doesn't or didn't affect it's warranty...then what's in it for them to reduce the price(?)...

I'm not quite understanding the crypto advocacy except to get others to buy which in turn drives the price up. It's ether. Half of crypto currencies have gone belly up. Bitcoin started in 2009 by...whom? Started at about $0, my nephew did buy some on a whim when it hit $20. I much prefer...
