If you still have the factory Torch spark plug it might be the problem. I have found them to be hit and miss when it comes to reliable operation. I replace with NGK (From Japan if you can get it).


ETA: For the B&S in my Typhon 1-ton the NGK plug is BP6ES

Thanks. I show BPR6ES which is probably the resistor plug. Didn't get a chance to work on it yet. Have to go shopping. Will try a new plug. Was going to double check the gas flow and see if the oil module shutoff is acting up. Otherwise I will pull the tank and carb. I need a new hose routed out where I can change the gas filter if it has one.

Put in the new plug. Oil was showing about 1/3 on the stick. Topped it off with a half quart of oil and it ran. Didn't try to dig today though.
