I've been a Kubota guy for 18yrs of wedded bliss to my B7800 which is 30hp/Hydro/LA402 Loader/72in Belly Mower and about 1000hrs. I also picked up a well used Kubota T1600 (riding mower sized) for some mowing duties.
Budget is $25K range including loader - uses are finish mowing, loader work for logs, gravel. Road mainentance, firewood, landscape stuff. 1500lbs would be amazing for my needs. Plan to trade/sell the B7800.
Had a little brush fire and I had the deck parked along the ditch full of leaves. Belly Mower now has no paint or rubber items. So I'm in the market for something with a little more loader lift and I guess moving to a rear finish mower. Possibly adding a med sized zero turn for around the house. But if I can get by with the tractor I will not add a ZTR. We are on 10acres, but mow 5 of that semi regularly in a "park" like settings lost of trees. We have "yard" not lawn.
On paper the Kioti CK3520 looks great (better seat, remotes, decent ergonomics) especially the loader specs for its size. I drove 1 around the lot, seemed fine. Loader didnt seem to do regenerative (lift and curl) as smoothly as Kubota, but I'm sure part of that was me. Also looked at a NH WorkMaster which was a little more money and less features. My concern was long term parts etc as I keep stuff for a long time.
Kubota Dealer has a used 750hr 2022 L3560 w/LA555 Loader. its a few thousand less and used compared to the Kioto CK3520. If it had the LA805 loader I prob would have jumped. But I dont think the LA555 is enough improvement on paper specs over my LA402. I drove a used Kubota L4240 and that frame size is too big/heavy for getting into the woods and mowing near the house.
LA402 - 1060lbs at pin
LA555 - 1190lbs at pin
LA555 - 1715lbs at pin
