successful trip to Ken's home and we swapped out my
heater blower fan motor. It was getting humorous for a while because every time
Ken stuck his hand in the dash hole, at my request, out came more nuts.
and more nuts. And more nuts. New fan ran great. Until I got half way home and I think one last
hiding nut came free and the fan started making more noise. Groan. I think I'll drive it a bit, make sure all those nuts have shaken free inside and then drop the fan again and dump the nuts out of it.
what a nuisance.

I think the world would be such a better place for us humans if there were no mice, ticks or mosquitoes!

30 outside right now, may hit 60 today. No precipitation. Yesterday was a super nice day for this time of year. Basically sat outside all day and chatted with friends.

On todays agenda is to get not my dog to the vet and get the last of the stiches out. I would like to make a grocery run and need to shop around for some insurance for the wife.

Hope all have a great day, be safe.

Good Tractor Morning Bill,

Bill, it’s always been my contention, that why do I need to know about transporting radio active material when I I ever do is transport heating oil 🥲 When you take the Hazmat test administered by the DMV, I need to know about what can and can not be transported together. 😒 Such is life 😃
Ya, like TNT and blasting caps on the same load. The only thing explosive I EVER hauled was the 53 gallon step tank in the back of my pickup truck. That was my main fuel tank after the tank behind the seat started leaking.

Good Tractor Morning,
Ct,28 to start going to 43. Looks to be the pick of the week 😉 Of course I’m working on the best day 😃

We had all the grands yesterday afternoon after they got out of school. We had a little pizza party for them, and it got a bit loud for a time but we managed to get through 😉

Steve, I ordered my new Elecraft KPA500 yesterday. I’m also waiting for my LDG 600 Pro tuner , that’s on back order from DX engineering.
I have to have a reason to be working to buy all these toys 😉😂

Need to get ready for work, Have a blessed day 🙏
Scott you will love that Amp not cheap but well worth the money IMO. I also have the matching tuner. BUT I do also have 2 of the LDG 600pro tuners and they are great as well. Only reason I have the Elecraft tuner is it came with the Amp I bought used.

Good morning TBN!!
right at the freezing mark this morning. Supposed to get near 70 under sun.

Good day yesterday. Got the plate for my compressor pump cleaned up, painted and mounted. I should get the motor pully today and then I can do final lining up and decide on belt size.
Wife let me know she would be home last night instead of tonight so I had to wrap up early to get her honey do list she left me done. :) Always put that off until the last minute.
No big plans for today. I'll wait for the pully and do that later but nothing else really till then.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

I'm back from 11 days in Europe, a week of it in Krakow.
You know what I miss.
Yes, the ladies I was with , but the other thing, the food.
We were staying in a B&B style apartment that overlooked the main market square.
3 times a day fresh bread. Cold cuts that have no comparison here. And cheeses and desserts...
I really miss my morning fresh bagel.
One with smoked cheese made in the mountains and salmon.
The second with blueberries and a local style cream cheese with fruit in it.
Morning would be gooder with what they take for granted and a treat here.
None of that bread we buy here that has an expiration date sometime this spring.
3 times a day fresh. The stuff they bought in the morning is considered stale/old.
I wish everyone a GREAT MORNING but how can it be making toast with bread you bought last Friday?😞

very familiar with freezing fog. But why they billing anyone for cleaning drains, that's their job.

So it wasn't a fan problem, but a critter problem.

I'm at the stage of life where I need less toys, says the guy who keeps buying cameras......

was 28deg when I was awaken by a charlie horse. now 35 already. frosty this morning.
Need to get shelving assembled, as my wife is ready to store stuff on it.

good morning, 38 with high of 52

Cut up a load of oversized firewood using the Makita saw. Tedious process and my back did not like it. Stacking them on a pallet and step on them to not have the pieces fly off.

Fired up after ash clean out.

Should be a good day to get down to the barn

Welcome back.

There is no comparison to the preparation of food between the US of A some parts of Canada and the European community.

I think our choices for freshness evaporated over time with the advent of bigger kitchens and refrigeration.

Morning all, 39 up to 51 and sunny, ice is pretty much gone at this point.
Drew- if it's just one more acorn, I can get it from the filter opening, no need to drop the fan again.
Strange that there is no obvious way for the acorns to get in, and also strange that they are all empty and the top are also missing.

Be well,

On this mornings dog walk,

The oil guy just left. House tank full and big tank 7/8 full. 2,000 Litres is all that I ordered. Cost me $1.33/L or $5.0274/ U.S. gal. in CDN money. Leaves me with $291.04 in the account. I forgot to put the whistle in where the gauge was. Oh well, he only pumped 2000L as per my order. I was his first call, now he works his way back down to Huntsville, ON.

Good Morning
46° and partly cloudy this morning. It within a degree or two of the high for the day already.

A large part of yesterday was spent in front of the computer. I completed my course, and used all of the waiting time learning how to model gears.

IMG_8040.jpg

So some serious learning actually took place.

Got a call from the airport saying that there was a fire in the hangar and our Rubbermaid storage locker was destroyed and was the suspected starting point.

IMG_2937.jpg

You can see the cart with the oxygen bottles had the wheels completely burnt off. About the only remains of the locker Is the aluminum doors, distorted and on the floor. The contents, mostly cleaning supplies, snack food, and a battery charger, polisher and a vacuum were pretty much consumed.

The regulator lenses were melted, but the bottles themselves survived

IMG_2942.jpg

I got another call later stating that they reviewed surveillance footage, and our locker was a victim, not the instigator.
The apparent source was an extension cord plugged into an engine heater.

Zoe is intently watching squirrels, i think she might be thinking about climbing trees…

Today starts with dealing with another geriatric alpaca that died overnight. The vet was here yesterday, and gave him some medication, so it wasn’t a complete shock.
After that, maybe a Costco run, who knows what else will come up.

Bummer about the hanger fire! Any planes damaged?

I remember my grandfather owned a local storage facility, where there was a fire in the 1980's. Several classic cars were damaged or destroyed. Thankfully, we had just moved our own 1939 Cadillac out of there, just prior to that fire. Cause was found to be local kids up to mischief, and the storage sheds were old timberframe wood structures.

nice breakfast at coffee shop in Lambertville.
very nice outside and it's warming up.
But.....on this day a few years back it wasn't warm at all.
So cold the Delaware froze up and ice flows were threatening houses in New Hope and further
down the River. That's Trenton NJ in the background; gives you some idea of what Washington dealt with trying
to get over to that side of the River.

but oh what a grand time the locals had on the pond in downtown Yardley.
You could take pictures of that and make Christmas cards of them.

would be cool to get some local athletes to skate together to some hip hop/funk disco beat.
better make sure the ice is thick
