Hi,

I was clearing some brush the other day on my m7040 and accidentally broke the water separator bowl. I replaced the bowl but no fuel is coming out of the lines to refill it. The engine cranks over fine and I've tried running the starter with the key and by jumping the solenoid but no fuel come out of the rubber lines to the separator.

Thanks for any help or advice.

James

If it has an electric lift pump, perhaps the wiring was damaged at the same time? My only other thought would be the valve on the separator.

Thanks for the reply! Looks like it only has a mechanical pump. I'm thinking the entire system got pumped full of air when the bowl broke - SMH... Anyone know where the bleed screw is on the injector pump on one of these? Thanks!

Section from the Ops Manual for fuel bleeding.
