Thats the only explanation I would have, but that makes the battery like 15 years old.Haydudes battery in the excavator is pretty obvious how the battery was installed at the factory if you look at the pictures carefully. During assembly the line starts with a battery and then they build the machine around it.
Pretty rare for a 70HP outdoor stored machine with 2,500 hours on it to be on the original factory battery.
It’s still inexcusable to make the opening too small for the next guy.
