My tractor tried to get hot but thankfully it was the clogged radiator fins, all good now.

Well, Kukje used to make engines for Cummins, so there's a chance. Unfortunately, that's about where my knowledge ends.

This presumes you have done the basics. Usually it is a radiator screen problem.

You decided it was the gasket, but 2 of 3 'tests' don't indicate that.

Hopefully, someone with more skills will weigh-in.

That's what the mobile mechanic determined because in order to start it, I have to pump the fuel pedal many many times while at the same time cracking the engine until it coughs and shakes then starts, all while still holding the starter on and pumping the fuel pedal. Se he says it's leaking and getting air in through the head gasket making it so hard to start.

That may be good info for our Kukje experts.

@ptsg is a bit further away (Portugal), but also has a great deal of knowledge, too.

This is one of those things where one will only know for sure if one is willing to spend the money on getting the parts need for a Cummins engine, then test fit them on the Kukje engine.

Otherwise, I don't think anyone will 100% garante that it will or will not work.

I've eyeballed the water pumps before for a A1700, only looking at pictures. Looked very very similar but then again, I didn't actually tested it on the engine, since it was just pictures.

I don't under stand how pumping the "gas" pedal is doing anything. It does not have an accelerator pump as a carbureted gas engine would have.
