Update on the farm:
We are late getting everything mowed this year, even though we started earlier. Between the frequent storms, and then the heat, been difficult.
Waterline people want to extend the waterline agreement for up to 2 more years. Met with them monday, showed them if we extend, they need to move it over a little so we can access our trail below our pond. They were more than willing to do that, they even offered to mow that section with their skidsteer to open up access some.
The oil/gas pipeline area is now being seeded. Yesterday they dug up the stone from one work area, and removed the portapots. They started on neighbors property in the deep valley, working their way back to us, and also working towards us from the south end also.
Mowing the NE corner of the farm. This used to be pasture. This section was woods up until dad had it cleared in the 70s.
Just the bottom of one hayfield still not mowed. Some of the early mowing has been remowed. Still have a lot of pasture area to mow.
They made this stone road thru our field, I told them last week they can keep it there, but they said they have to reclaim it. The strip to right of excavator has been mowed twice, then once to the right of that. On the far right, after a fence row, was not mowed last year, and you can see how it grows up if left for a year.
