Whenever people talk about classic TV, they forget how much absolute crap dominated our screens, most of the week. Sure, I Love Lucy, All in the Family, MASH, Newhart, and Cheers were great. But for every one of them, there were 20 or 50 Bobby Sherman's and Partridge Families.

One great show per decade does not make a "golden era". :p
Gilligan's Island the worst....
But I did like I dream of Jeanie. :)

My older sister was big into him back then.
I just sent her my condolences... gotta stir the pot once in a while!
Funny. I did exactly the same thing a few months ago when his diagnosis became public. Both sisters are older, but the younger of them was really into Sherman at the time.

I'm surprised she didn't change her name to Julie.
