Gilligan's Island the worst....Whenever people talk about classic TV, they forget how much absolute crap dominated our screens, most of the week. Sure, I Love Lucy, All in the Family, MASH, Newhart, and Cheers were great. But for every one of them, there were 20 or 50 Bobby Sherman's and Partridge Families.
One great show per decade does not make a "golden era".

Funny. I did exactly the same thing a few months ago when his diagnosis became public. Both sisters are older, but the younger of them was really into Sherman at the time.
For those of us a little younger, it's hard to even hear the name Sherman, without thinking of the Sherminator:
