New Excavator owner

New to me, but well used. 3200 hours.
Picked up a 2012 Wacker Neuson 8003-2.
Its about 18,000lbs. Yanmar 59HP diesel.
Has WB manual quick attach, hammer lines and thumb line.
AC still works great! Has 2 speed. All glass in-tact. Pretty good tracks.

My bank account is licking it’s wounds….
Could be a while, but if something affordable comes along, I’ll search the couch cushions for loose change.

Having a hard time finding Werk Brau thumb in local searches.
I will probably look for a “bush hog” type small rotary cutter.

Looks used but not abused. Good find, have fun. I will admit I am a little jealous, I would love one but I don't have enough use for one to justify the cost, if I am going to be honest.

Taken care of 3200 hours is nothing. A "stiff leg" fixed thumb is almost as handy as the hydraulic version and your upper mounting point is there.

Werk Brau thumb (new) is 6 grand
Thats one thing I dislike about this machine, the Werk Brau attachments to fit Werk Brau coupler are the most expensive out there.

Ouch!
Iirc many rigid thumbs just attach to a longer pin at the end of the stick, in other words it could be generic.
(Other than pin size)
