It's been zero degrees here for about two days. I just checked the fuel temp in the tractor, and it's still 24F.

^^Same here...I haven't had to start the beast yet this winter. It looks like it may be the 2nd driest January in history for us. Not good.

I have set up 2 of my game cameras to record 18 hours of time lapse video of the snow event starting at 1 am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. One is here at my shop, and the other is about 30 miles north of Baton Rouge where I deer hunt. Hopefully I will get some good video.

One thing for certain and that is, under the incoming administration, you will at least have Federal emergency aid unlike the outgoing administration that left the victims in the Carolina's out to dry....

With several friends in the affected area and knowing several others who were sent there to help, I can say that is complete and total hogwash.

Check back in 15-20min and see if things are warmer. If it were me, I would check the wires before plugging it in as engine compartments aren't ideal locations for wiring.

Sub zero for the next three nights here. High of 5 tomorrow afternoon.

Got 800 gallons of propane and three cords of oak stored in the attached garage. Plenty of food so we can hunker down.

We’re supposed to be single digits below zero tonight. But not much snow forecast, just a few inches.

Did it work? On tractors you can hear them start working. I would think if it's quiet around you the same applies. Otherwise going back out and feeling if engine warm.

National weather service has issued a Blizzard warning for my area. It's 25* right now and snowing about 0.5 to 1.0 inches per hour. The TV weather man says we have had 2" already, and expecting 6-8 inches more today.
