And then headed North to a museum in Shelburne VT, and then over/down to Boston and back home.
I really enjoyed the American Precision Museum in Windsor, VT.
You might not be as interested in seeing Bridgeport Mill serial number one as me, but there is a lot to see.

Looks good!
One man's junk is another man's art!
Thank you Newberry,

Making the steel tires was my first job as a 15 year old blacksmith helper. The blacksmith would set the tempo with his hammer and I was to follow up each hit with a hit by the sledge hammer.
Had to not slow down and get as many hits as possible before loosing the heat. Then forge weld it into a ring
Not for the weak for sure and the satisfaction was when the tire fit on the wooden wheel glowing hot and smoking from wood burning and then douse it with water to shrink it tight making the wheel very strong

Drew. I'm 68 miles west of Boston. If you drive by my place you can go to Historic Deerfield village. Home - Historic Deerfield
There is a historic train yard in Buckland also but I've never been there. The bridge of flowers and the butterfly museum are both great places to visit. Parking at the bridge might be an issue though.
There is a dinosaur footprint down in Holyoke that might be on your way south depending on your itinerary.
We have the Otter River state forest and camp ground about 4 miles from me.

I also have a nice flat spot you could park on for a rest. 110 power cord would be available also.
Let me know the date and time and I'll try to make sure I'm available.

Drew I think you would really enjoy Boston, the Commons, the Gardens, the Historic area. If possible, maybe you can park RV outside of city and take MTA. Likely some non walking tours available. Many, many years ago I thought it would be ideal to have a winter residence someplace warm and a Boston residence for non winter, in the city.

I’m pretty good at ignoring the ads, refuse to click on them. Seems I always have at least 2 in right margin and then floating ads every few posts. AAF I think the kids say. The Tapatalk app is even worse. Miss the old TBN app.
Maybe time to find an adblocker.

Stayed with friends a long time ago in Boston along Charles River water front and they took us all over the city. I think it is well worth a visit. Also visited Newton outside Boston. Very nice area.
Spent a lot of time in New England area with suppliers and completing projects. Schenectady
at the time was not on my return list but I am sure it has cleaned up since. Worcester is an old town with a lot of antique shops around in the area. Hartford was clean and nice area. Providence was interesting and remember how the city enforced some strict building codes to blend in with the old houses in the city

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.3C and it's presently 19.0C, lightly overcast and fairly calm.

Apparently it's another 'holiday' in Tasmania again. "Recreation Day"... I don't know why. Being retired, I continually get surprised by these occasions. Heck, I have trouble remembering what day it is, at times.

That's about it, take care all.

Looks like this will be the last time to church for the next couple of weeks since there aren’t any Episcopal churches down there that I have seen !
You could attend a Roman Catholic church, if you'd like.
A few decades ago, a 'deal/understanding' was reached between the Anglican/Episcopal and RC churches that we could receive communion in each others.
