Don’t see ads, but I approve of those ones Drew.
The point is I had hoped this spot would be a haven from flashing political billboards.
not so.
big ad bashing Dave McCormick in PA on right side of my screen.
I try to ignore all ads, unless they are for tractors of course
ok, this is for our New England guys.
this is first pass on a New England trip next summer.
I need help on what to see/not miss, and if you would PM me,
where you are located so I can try to steer that way in planning.
I've never been to Boston. Not sure how to do that with a motorhome and wow
those folks don't like rv campgrounds, there are very few to choose from.
my first stop is at my friend's mountain cabin near Arkville NY, where I've been going for 52 years now.
No longer will I sleep there, beds are terrible, will visit for day.
my long planned parking spot at the neighbor's a full mile down the road, which is a grass path with ditches on both sides,
isn't available because new owner of that home knocked it down and built a new home there, using my parking spot as construction storage.
bummer. My friend's son who now owns the cabin is hunting a reasonably level spot for me to dry camp.
Then he comes and gets me in the morning in his truck.
52 years driving up route 28. Much less in recent years, particularly when in NC.
But curious to see how much son has fixed it up. He even has solar powered electric in the house.
All three wives went with me to the cabin and loved it. Second wife's three kids adored it.
Side of a mountain with all parkland around it.
And then headed North to a museum in Shelburne VT, and then over/down to Boston and back home.
time for me to see another car museum
Not sure if I can do this trip and a trip to UP Michigan July 4th.
my challenge is always the garden; this past trip used up all my watering credits with friends.
