Mowed the yard with the 6', 3 blade finish mower on the Toolcat.

Was actually thinking about you as I was mowing this week Mr. Xfaxman.

I let the grass get too high before the first mow. Grass pushed down by the tractor wheels did not spring back up ahead of the 8' finish mower.

And the next day - rows of uncut lines of grass .

The pure logic of your whole Tool Cat set-up with the mower and other implements out front is brilliant.

It's like a skid steer on steroids with your telescoping arm!

Thanks Gordon, crazily enough I've spread more grass seed around the house...just more to mow!?!? (Not very smart!!!)

Just think of all of the people doing "no mow May"! Next month will be "rake all weekend June."

I know what a field day the crows and occasional fox have finding field mice, when we mow the field once every summer. I'll keep mowing that barrier, thanks.

I had the same too high problem because of standing water in the yard. This picture from the back porch camera after one pass shows how high the grass is:

Here is the second pass, the tall grass is hiding the deck front wheels:

And no "rows of uncut lines of grass" :

Right, but the telescoping arm is on the V417 Versahandler:

Confusing because the Toolcat operates the same attachments:

Ahhh...thought they both were just different sized "Tool Cats."

Does either one have a traditional PTO?

Toolcat model 5610 has a PTO powered by a hydraulic motor but you can't run it and the front aux hydraulics at the same time:

Thanks Mr. Molalla. I worked every day for 16 months, side by side with the builder to get the house done...it's complete and the builder is gone - but I still have lots of work to do.

Thankfully, it's all outside fun stuff, like watching new grass grow!

Combined some tractor time with mothers day trip to Home depot and then I got her a "rock" from the tree clean up site.

The Rhino could not lift it so I finally pushed it onto the trailer with the grapple.
Pulled it off the trailer with the backhoe and then hauled it in the bucket.

Actually the place I got the trees for firewood.

Idaho is the Gem state, and if you see a license plate, we are also the "Famous Potato" State.:)

I take it where you live , there is an over abundance of rocks?

You could say that. I see pictures of TBN members out west working that nice m, deep soil and I understand why so many abandoned their farms here and went west 150 years ago.
We also are known for our potatoes. Also for rock walls. Farmers have been picking their field for 150 years, yet every spring are able to get another "crop".

To put things in perspective, the slogan for New Hampshire right next door is " The Granite State "

Yup...hard to grow fruit trees but each year we have good crops of rocks.
