Good morning!!!!

Well, somewhat successful day on the agenda....
Started to measure for the pieces of siding to go up against the roof.
Then the wifey called me in..... apparently she needed more ingredients for her batches of cookies..... unfortunately, they were at the store....

Compiled a list of stuff needed.... turned into a long list which included other 'non baking' items.

Pulling into the Wally World parking lot gave me an idea of how this trip was going to be. Normally, on a busy day, the lot is only half full. Not today ---- up and down multiple lanes to get a parking spot.
Inside, every register open, lines of 10+ people waiting....
The busiest I have ever seen in the 10 years it's open.

Anyway, got home, finished measuring and got the pieces cut and prepainted. Then the wifey said she wanted an earlier dinner.... closed up the shop and came in, tomorrow is another chance....

Of course, now she says "I need you to get that plaque made.... the stain has to dry before I can get it wrapped"
Before I got myself in trouble saying something, I just agreed and said "I'll make it tomorrow "
Who says we don't get smarter as we age?......

Watching an interesting 'marathon' of shows on History TV called "decoding the Bible". Explains a lot about some of the 'conflicting stories' in different books. Very well made shows.

The talk of golf carts UTV's has me searching for one again. The wifey wants one for her to get around on the property. Everything that I found over the last year was WAY too expensive. I don't mind going 3-400 miles to get one. If anyone knows of any, let me know.

Another view of the new trailer pad. Nice having stone under them. I’ll make it look nicer when yard is dry. Added this pic to show how soft the ground is..

good morning all
quiet Sunday morning, up early, wide awake (?) so will start the day early and hopefully
this afternoon when the rains come will get a good nap.
Lot of rain coming up East Coast, two to three inches of rain predicted.

Mostly your bike mileage is amazing. You've ridden across the country, and back and more.
you put more miles on your bicycle then I did in my rv.

good morning Ron, you are probably waking up same time too

Coffee has started brewing. 42° with cloudy skies some light rain this morning. Heading to 46° with some rain. Finishes chipping up pile of limbs. My body is feeling aces and pains after 2 days of twisting and turning limbs to feed in chipper. Going to be a good day to conserve energy.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

Good morning, the low is 34 and going to a high of
37°F. Wind SE 8 mph. Rain.

I am back on my regularly scheduled program. Up at 5 or shortly after. Morning routine is as follows; P, then flip on the outside lights, run my hand across the double wall chimney for the wood stove (if really hot like today then wait for an hour before feeding it), look out the window and see how much precipitation we got overnight. Last night we got none. The outside light is on a motion sensor and timer, so I will turn off the switch when I go to feed the stove, the lights will already be off. We are secluded enough here that I can and have in the past left the keys in the tractor over numerous days/nights.
I realize that IF the keys are in a stolen vehicle the insurance wont pay. Same goes for a stolen vehicle or goods within, that has the doors unlocked. My insurance anyway.
The city of Thunder Bay, ON police had a campaign a few years ago called 'lock it or lose it', because there were so many thefts in the city. That was their way of combating the drug problem up there.

What am I going to do today, you ask. Conserve energy. It sounds better than absolutely nothing.

Have a safe day all

Buckeye, when all the rain comes tonight, you'll be glad to have that new gravel pad; would be mud city otherwise.

speaking of gravel, my driveway has now fully settled after being renewed and there are too many large stones on top.
Exactly what I told the guy I didn't want. Will be interesting to see how much gets sucked up in first snow.
I really wanted all fines on top.

56 degrees today with rain starting around lunch time. Need to go for a walk this morning to get some fresh air.

I think I scored a good Christmas gift for my nephew's daughter, age 10. She is already fully equipped with the standard Taylor Swift friendship bands,
I found a different set with alternate wording. I wonder if she already has it....
I also got her a light up winter beanie and a 1000 piece table puzzle.
I don't have any children, but I make a pretty good Uncle.

Good Morning Guys,
Ct, 39 to start going to 50 or so ! Rain coming in soon !

Big day today at the FD, Popcorn Ball and Candy Cane Sunday ! Every year we go out in our section of town and deliver popcorn balls and candy canes to the kids on our side of town ! I go over to the FD at 7 am and start by making bacon egg and cheese sandwiches for all the fire fighters that come over to support this event. Been doing this for 40 years and it was going on before I joined ! I will try and post some pictures later today ! We are hoping that the heavy rain holds off until later today !

At the home front, Kathleen and my two DIL's with all the grands, will be making cookies this morning ! That should be a wild time there ! :ROFLMAO:

Hopefully pictures to come !

Have a safe and blessed day !

NHBX, happy belated birthday to your wife !
