Good morning, the low is 34 and going to a high of
37°F. Wind SE 8 mph. Rain.
I am back on my regularly scheduled program. Up at 5 or shortly after. Morning routine is as follows; P, then flip on the outside lights, run my hand across the double wall chimney for the wood stove (if really hot like today then wait for an hour before feeding it), look out the window and see how much precipitation we got overnight. Last night we got none. The outside light is on a motion sensor and timer, so I will turn off the switch when I go to feed the stove, the lights will already be off. We are secluded enough here that I can and have in the past left the keys in the tractor over numerous days/nights.
I realize that IF the keys are in a stolen vehicle the insurance wont pay. Same goes for a stolen vehicle or goods within, that has the doors unlocked. My insurance anyway.
The city of Thunder Bay, ON police had a campaign a few years ago called 'lock it or lose it', because there were so many thefts in the city. That was their way of combating the drug problem up there.
What am I going to do today, you ask. Conserve energy. It sounds better than absolutely nothing.
Have a safe day all
