Good morning !
Hey people, time to wake up already !

Yesterday went home, checked-in TBN and went to bed
After so exhausting day slept like dead. Now woke up with fresh head, muscles are in pain a bit, but not bad. Actually kinda like that feeling a bit

It’s not windy, electricity is not for free, so went to Supercharger. Have 30 min to check TBN again

Plans for today
Brush heat exchanger of furnace. There is a pile of ashes, full with nails. I have burned few big pallets. Now coming back to wood. Clean ashes I spread in garden. Those with rusty nails better no :) So lets clean for fresh start

Then will to run to IKEA. Daughter asked for new mattress. Gonna help her with delivery. Her boyfriend is kinda nice dude, plays guitar etc. But doesn’t know by which end hold screwdriver. Even don’t have drivers license. But cooks great. Boy is studying in Arts college, for movie director or something. At least his father is movie director. Nice dude, hats down. But practical side of life - nothing. While she is happy - I don’t care at all. Will help them as much I can

On the way back from daughter’s will pick-up my boys. They are at their friends, for pyjama party. That’s why yesterday I was in forest alone. Minions are partying while old man is working ass off. Classic
Then will run into meat shop. Going to grill Sunday’s steak
Have to wash car. Last 5 km to my “rancho” is gravel road, my Tesla looks like Shrek’s car
That’s about it

Have a great Sunday !

Really love that Yanmar. At first was concerned, how this 1/2toy will perform in woods. Now I realized, that in forest muscle is not that important than agility, maneuverability. And what I like most, that tractor is so light, it doesn’t spoil remaining trees.
Once you are doing “general cutting” (I don’t know correct word for this, that’s slang word we are using), situation is different, but for “sanitary” or “grooming” cutting smaller tractor wins
BTW, above mentioned Finns make good forest tractors, which looks like agriculture tractor. I don’t know is VALTRA a thing in USA, but for sure they are very good for jungles. Raised, thick skid plate underneath, steel diesel tank raised, all hydraulics well protected. And you can still attach farm's implements to them :)
Does ikea mattress come as a spool of wire and a bolt of cloth. Some assembly required? 😂

Need to get coffee brewing. 24° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 50° with partly cloudy skies. Never got to leaf blowing. Instead moved about 3 yards of topsoil for neighbor. Then worked on getting another neighbors leaf blower working. Ended up cleaning carburetor with Ultrasonic cleaner. After putting back together. It is running like new. Helped cleanup some of their leaves. Today oldest son will arrive from NC for a few days visit. A little house cleaning before he shows up.

Txdon, get some more sleep.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.
How did you put carb in ultrasonic? In a bag in the water bath?

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 7:00AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High 71F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
Looks like rain will be coming in for Wednesday, but not nearly as much as previously forecast.
RNG, you get caught on that Norton and you're liable to get kicked out of the airheads club.... :)
All the changes in the past year have morphed the club into a bunch of clueless collectors, so I'm letting my Airheads membership lapse, Kyle. I'll still go camping with the local folks, just no reason to support the national organization that has gone so far astray.

Got five of the hanging shelves down out of the garage and loaded into the trailer yesterday. They're heavy and awkward enough that their descent wasn't always as controlled as perhaps they should have been. I have eight more to do today, and I'll be wearing my steel toes.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!

36°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 62° today. That's kind of a carbon copy for most of the coming week.

Need to get the outside hoses drained and a few more things put away for the winter, like the Adirondack chairs and other stuff on the dock. Wife and I got all of the outside furniture covered last weekend.

Installed power to the hen house last weekend. Used an RV outlet mounted into the wall to power a couple of things inside. Wife found an infrared heater to try this year instead of a heatlamp. She initially wanted to put the water heater and water dispenser in there as well, but ended up taking it out after a couple of days of them slopping the water around inside the new hen house.

We've been getting eggs from them for about a month or so now. Averaging about 7 per day. Nice having fresh eggs again.

PJ sounds like you are really busy be safe
Sure have, Buppies. Job is keeping busy during the day, and Wife and music projects are keeping me busy at night and on weekends. My 2nd shift supervisor got sick last week, and no one was available to cover for her. So, back-to-back 17-hour shifts for me last Thursday and Friday. Haven't done that since I was in my mid-20s ... and I am clearly not in my mid-20s anymore. Slept until 11:00 last Saturday.

Warmed up to 50° now, so I guess I'll get outside and get some stuff done today.

Good morning, gents.

That's a shame. I spent about three years as a member of the BMW-MOA back in the early '90s. It didn't take me long to notice that they really weren't doing much for me as an individual rider and owner.

HD Simple Green and water mixed 3 to 1. Parts are just put in a basket. 150° for 15 minutes then again for 10 minutes. Have done it this way several times with good success. Blow all parts with air hose to get Simple Green mix out.

67°F and .39 inches rain yeaaaaaa more please

Will give my pool pump work around a once over before letting it run for the day. By blocking the skimmers, which were sucking air and adding a sump pump that feeds directly into the pump feed I get sufficient water to the main pumps into the sand filter and the chlorinator. This hopefully results in good circulation to get ahead of the algae and back to chemical balance

Otherwise watch some football today.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

You could try a dutchman repair. Not much you can do for the not level part except have it turned again. If there is enough material left.

Thanks Phil. Not likely to happen. This would take ME too much time given my non skills. Doubtful the bowl is worth a lot. It was a gift at last years Christmas gathering. Would still work to put out with chips, popcorn, or something else dry.

No quick fix on my hose leak so I put a catch basin in place and will empty periodically rather than waste the day on a more time consuming fix. Of course as this is just a temp fix that goes away once rain brings water level up, not that important.

No quick fix on my hose leak
I hope you didn't catch it from me...

this has been a very fun day. Nice drive down 95 on a Sunday morning and despite being packed, I was out of the fray on cruise in the right lane most of the time.

Gamble Rogers state rec area is a lovely small state park on a barrier island.
Water on the inside is the Matanzas River, also the ICW waterway, and I have taken my boat right on through here up and back. Known for sand shoaling at the inlets so lots of zigs and zags in the locally marked buoys. On the other side of course is the Atlantic.
rv sites are huge and almost perfectly level.
Of course Florida is pretty flat.

Lots of trails, I went exploring on the e bike and not only saw lots of folks fishing in different places, but got to check out the whole place. Took a while to clean it off first, pretty grimed up. Battery still showed full, off I went. Poorly paved road, clearly not one Buppies put in, and it was bouncy as could be on the little e bike with no suspension. But I wore my Bell helmet and managed to get across the main road without getting run over. This thing eases out, not much sense of acceleration...it's no Tesla with only 250W...

I don't want a bike heavier than my current 50 pounds, too much to lift on carrier, but I sure would like the heavy amenities of the 70 pounders...

Good Afternoon Guys,
Another beautiful beach day, quite windy but that’s to be expected on the islands !

David on the cracks of those pieces, I would think that the only thing you could do, would be to fill the cracks with a black epoxy, it could be tastefully done IMO !
The only time I’ve used butter fly inserts were on coffee tables and the like, and it was more of a decorative detail than a lasting repair ! Since that wood has dried and cracked, it’s next to impossible to pull it back together!

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.9C and it's presently 23.2C, clear and calm. The UV index is expected to top at 8 this arvo.

If all goes well, this will be a wood-stacking week over at the wooden shed's lean-to as temperatures are expected to be in the lower 20's (C, of course, 70F).

I'm happy with that... just a few hours a day.

That's about it, take care all.
