Thomas, sorry about the poacher and loss of the deer.

Sounds like mature buck leaving message/signs for the other deer.deer came and almost killed the willow tree. I wrapped it and think it will be ok.
I figured they wanted a trunk to rub on and would leave the bushes alone.
Wrong.
Came out and both willow bushes wrecked, lost half their branches.
I wrapped one, but ran out of plastic, hence this order. That night, deer came back and beat up
the one remaining bush a little more, a broken branch on ground.
GGRRRR
Wraps will cure this, but they sure are ugly on a shrub.
Bucket number two. Not shown four 50lb grain bags....lol.
One tree. In this area people are saying bumper crop. I believe.

Going to The Gonk?Good Morning Guys,
53 to start going to 74! Indian summer is here !
Up way to early ! Working today then driving to Vt this afternoon! Should be sufficiently tired by the time I get there ! Some friends are coming up on Friday , and also meeting with some other friends in Lake George on Saturday afternoon! By the looks of the weather, it will be warm up there until Sunday. Even though we go all winter, starting now I drain the plumbing out when we are not there ! I only leave the heat on at 50 but never wanted to take the chance not draining things out. During the winter it can get down to -25 F !
Ron, nice pic this morning !
Hope all have a safe day !!![]()
Cue the Get Smart Theme!Good Morning.
51 on its way to 77 today. Another sunny day.
Yesterday was a varied day. Got the finish on the speakers,

Tinkered with some of the settings on the VFD on the saw, locked out reverse, up to speed in 3 seconds, decelerates in the same time, etc.
Stopped by a friends shop where he was making an exhaust system for a Sunbeam Tiger barn find. It hadn’t run in 37 years. Now has all new fuel and brake lines and rebuilt calipers and wheel cylinders as well as master cylinders for brakes and clutch, also the slave cylinder for the clutch. All those parts were rebuilt by him, new parts were not available.
Stopped at HD and got some Moretite for sealing the hardware and drivers on the speakers, picked up a 4lb hand sledge while I was there.
Flew RC a bit, played with grandson and Zoe, grilled some hot dogs for dinner (after changing the tank on the grill).
This morning I’m off to Alexander City, AL for the day. An unplanned diversion, but it’s for good long time clients, so I’ll lose a day in the shop for them.
possiblyquestion for the plant experts out there: anyone have any hint as to what these are? Both are about 8-10 inches tall:

Although we don’t garden as much as we used to, I spend more time marveling at what nature brings to the garden. Mosses, lichens and “weeds” are really incredible looking.thankfully even common flowers can be very pretty
Scott, glad to hear the F150 is performing well. Mine is 2016, and it has done well for me as well. However, I did need to replace the transmission, coolant lines, as did my friend. How have yours held up?Good Morning Guys,
45 going to 68 ! Sunny morning with clouds increasing in the afternoon!
Don, best of luck with your recoup !
I see you didn’t waste any time to put your leg in the motion machine!
Kilroy, very cool old trunk, as Drew stated, if it could only talk !
Frits, happy anniversary to you and your wife! Very cool pictures you have been posting, I’m guessing I will probably never get a chance to get there !
MikeZ, quite a bumper crop you have there ! Do you hay all your open pasture land or do the local farmers do it ?
I can’t remember what the gas prices were, but I do remember working part time at a local gas station when everyone was waiting in line for gas, I always had plenty !!
Have a guy coming out to the house this morning to undercoat my 2017 F150 ! He put new tires on the truck last year in the DW ! He does this business on the side, he is a payed FF in Waterbury,Ct. There is very little rust on the frame, so trying to prevent it getting any worse ! Truck only has 62,000 miles , so only putting on about 9K per year, and most of that are high way miles going back and forth to Vt !
Hope all have a blessed and safe day !![]()
