870 fuel gauge

Hello Guys

On my 870, the fuel gauge is not working. How should I get started diagnosing and fixing this problem?

I appreciate any help you can give.

sent link the other day, re-sending now, check your spam/junk files, as it sometimes gets caught there

I've got the same problem with my 970, fuel gage is interminentent depending on what bump you just hit. I bought and installed a new sender, traced and cleaned up every joint and splice I could find and still have the problem. I'm beginning to think it could be the gage itself in the cluster, can't change that one out without changing out the cluster itself. Joecdeere sure would appreciate the trouble shooting procedure you have or diagram, That is the last thing on this tractor that's not 100% It would be nice to fix if I could.

The fuel gauge reads 1/2 (the tank is very full)
Do you suppose it's the same issue(s) as above?
Anyone find a definitive problem?

Man I would love the link to the pdf repair manual if they still have it. Keep finding all the fake sites
