What have you done to your Branson today?

You're just spoiled by the cab. That's all. 🤣

Mine is currently sitting idle all ready to go in case of a fire. Got an IBC on the dump trailer, got a small gas water pump and a couple feet of hose. Hopefully I don't have to use it for that duty though.

I hope you don’t either. My son lives in Maui and my daughter-in-law’s office she works in burnt down in the fires they have going on right now. They are safe so far where they live though.

I've been following on the news. That was terrible what they went through.

I removed the inspection plate and had a look around. Best I can tell it is the rear main seal. I also removed the starter and went between the flywheel and back of the motor with my camera but could not tell much as I was seeing more of the top side of the crankshaft. But I did go to the bottom of the bell housing and see some evidence of the leak.

Called dealer and they said is should be covered

Called dealer and they said is should be covered under the power train warranty. Hope they are correct. I will take it to them next Saturday.

Pic of the bottom of the bell housing behind the It's obvious by the dust accumulation that you have a leak.
It's obvious by the accumulated dust that you have a leak.
Details, details..., did you drain it before removing the plate? That small omission could change this whole story.

There is nothing to drain to remove the plate. That is the bell housing between the engine and transmission. There should not be any fluid in there.

The dust is from doing the road work with my brother at his deer lease. It is terribly dry here and that was very dusty job. My brother has an open station JD and he had more dust than that all over him. :ROFLMAO:

I don't know what I was thinking, lol. Correct, oil is bad in the clutch assembly. Take it in as soon as you can, because you want to avoid any games that might happen due to the delayed time.

Branson? Point and laugh at them.

Bransons just do the same job, for $10k to $20k less. And, I have all of the fancy options like auto throttle, cruise, telescoping 3pt, and stout lift capacities. Also, much prefer their regen system.

Was quoted T494HST with loader for $28,900, Kubota MX5400 gear w/o loader for $32,500, and L4701 w/o loader for $28,200. Or a used 2015 MX5200 shuttle without a loader with 220 hours for $20,000.

I have read a few posts asking if regens should be frequent on the MX5200. With it being a 2015 model, should I be concerned?

If you need a loader, get one with the tractor (whatever one you purchase). Don't buy the MX without one now, you'll only be sorry later.

My 2 cents.

Oops, reading is hard.

I only need it to bushhog with at least a 6' cutter if not an 8'. I wouldn't need a loader necessarily unless I sold or traded my L2501 to offset this purchase.

There's one TYM dealer with a 4.8 rating about an hour away. Four Kubota dealers with ratings 4.2-4.6 in the same travel range.

I still would get a loader. You will be surprised how often a second loader comes in handy. I have the forks on one and the grapple on the other 90% of the time.

Thank you. I hope you get your tractor repaired with full warranty coverage and that your son and daughter in law will be safe.
