Curious as to why you're tilling that under, instead of just mowing it?

I moved a wood shed today. I built it on my driveway where the air compressor is close by, then moved it to its final location (which is out of the shade that its in here). The siding on one side is because we often have rain blowing sideways in the winter. It'll hold about 2 1/3 cords.

Seed/soil contact to grow a second crop. Not sure if I'd get good germination by just mowing

Using my Express Steel 66 inch grapple, I'm making top soil from piles of decaying brush, etc. that I placed in the woods some time back.

I adjusted two lower fittings on my grapple cylinders. This brand has a heavy steel guard to protect the cylinders and hoses, but the lower 90 of each cyl. Was not parallel to the cylinder and gave the appearance the hose was malformed when the clamps were open. When the hose was loosend and repositioned it helped but the fittings had to align. This condition could not be good over time. I did not take a photo. The one side required almost one full turn, but the other side only a quarter. Now the hoses lay gracefully under the guards in any position.

Use mine along with the dump trailer to move quite a few a piles of brush that I loaded with the backhoe. Soon I'll have lots of dirt to move with the same setup.

I spent yesterday helping my brother do some road work at his deer lease. I took the Branson and my 6’ land plane. That is the hardest I have worked the Branson. It used 2 tanks of fuel trying to fix the dips he had going on. It was way to dry for road work but he wanted it done and it was his birthday. It is a lot smoother but won’t last long. :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, 8 hour in the tractor and 3 hour drive each way made for a very long Saturday. We had fun though. First time we did tractor work together since we were on the farm. The only damage was his rear blade. He hung a root and bent it double. Once that happened I had to shape more with the land plane. For those interested a land plane is not good at building up a road! But it made it very smooth until the next rain.

Well unloading the tractor this morning and noticed a small amount of fluid had dripped onto the trailer floor. Crawled under to find the source and it is coming from the weep hole in the bell housing. Very small amount but it looks like motor oil. I will keep an eye on it but believe I have a rear main seal leaking. :cautious: What you want to bet that is not considered a part of the 6 year power train warranty?

At 132 hours a rear main should not leak.

That is sad to hear. I would be surprised if it wasn't covered, but I don't envy them having to split the tractor.

Keep an eye on it for sure.

There is a small plate underneath that you can pull out (4 bolts). This allows you to take a peek inside.

Well I pulled the plate on mine at around 150 hours, I noticed a drip coming from the transmission input shaft. It's not constant a drip, definitely not enough to come out the weep hole. It actually lands on the coupler for the front axle prop shaft and ends up lubricating it.

At the time I suspected it came from working up and down on some very steep hills I was working at the time. Never really stuck to it because I believe there is two seals that seals the outer input shaft and the inner input shaft for the PTO.

Hard to get the context of the picture, but you can see the trail coming down just behind the fork for the clutch release bearing.
