Good Morning Popgadget,
Ok so you can now tell me, that I told you so ! Starting capacitor didn’t fix anything ! 😩
The thing that makes it hard to go out and discard this compressor away is that it wants to start but just can’t make it up to high speed to make air ! I have had this compressor longer than I can remember, so it probably doesn’t owe me much ! Just having a hard time forking over $600 for a new one !
Hopefully the mowing and trimming will go better !
Have a good day all !
If the compressor is good, just change the motor (pending further diagnosis by TBN GM Expert Technicians).

“Good” morning from SW Michigan (afternoon at this point). I say “good” because yesterday the Amazon delivery guy pulled into my driveway and smoked the awning on our motorhome (Tiffin Phaeton). We were not home but he was able to talk with one of our neighbors and they called us. He was very apologetic and gave me all the info needed to start filing an insurance claim. But man oh man!

A “quote” I used to tell my Marines when things got rough or our mornings were not going as well as expected.

Are you on fire? Nope.
Are you getting shot at? Nope.
Are you on fire getting shot at? Nope.
Well, if you can answer no to at least two of those questions, then your day is already going better than someone else’s out there.
My version is similar:

You‘re not going to jail?
You’re not going to the hospital?

Well Good Morning (afternoon) all;
Just finally getting caught up on my reading here.
Yesterday I was out the door around 5:30Am to get headed over to the mid part of the state for the Empire Farm Days show,
got there just a bit past 9 and started going around to all the displays and dealers and manufacture reps.
Day was pretty hazy and humid wet thru several rain showers on the way out but no rain while I was at the show.
Didn't even spend much money yesterday but may later.
Did buy a 7 1/4" saw blade, $75 show price, normally $110 thru their web site.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago, it has done a very good job on a wide variety of products, we used it during the kitchen remodel cutting and trimming tile and backsplash pieces, cut off some bolts and studs, and ground and cut some concrete, it has been a surprisingly good disc, it even dressed up the point on a masonry drill bit.

Then the heat started to get to me so finished up and got headed home from the show a bit after 2 PM.
Ran into light sprinkles off and on during the trip home, then a serious downpour the last hour I was traveling in the same direction the storm was moving. It was still pouring at home when I got there about 5:30 we got an inch in less then an hour.
Hot and humid and hazy here today already 80F and almost 80% humidity.

Everyone take care and enjoy

78F and supposedly "Mostly Cloudy" @ 13:15 ... but it's looking pretty sunny out there to me. Heading up to around 79F the day's high. HI 78F, DP 60F, HU 55%, AQI 75.

Got another 23 strawberries planted for a total of 70, only one plant left to go ... for now.

Woman helped, bringing me plants as I was putting them in the ground. She also worked on getting Her Siberian Irises planted and dusted some of the garden plants with Bug-B-Gone.

Took break from sun/heat in the middle of that and came inside for BLT's. Woman had to go out and pick another tomato for the 2nd BLT ... ;)

May have more ripe tomatoes today.

Also got 15 runners pinned into pots so they will form roots and eventually new plants:

There's probably still a few more to do on that.

Modified monofilament so that it could be unhooked down towards the end of the garden in above picture to provide a travel path for the Cub so the section of lawn between the flower bed and garden can be mowed.

Got nyjer feeder refilled as well.

Agenda for today, with "Special Requests" from Woman ...:

Get recyclables taken up to can at the road.

Compostables taken up to the pile.

Add bag of salt to softener.

Wash and cut up 3 cups of rhubarb ... seems we will be having a pie later for dinner with company ...

She's off to do some grocery shopping.

Plus:

Get last "King Kong" strawberry plant put in the ground.

Maybe get some/all of those Kentucky Field Pumpkins planted.

Possibly get last section of weed block fabric laid and stapled down.

Plus whatever else comes up.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday ... (y)

Good Saturday morning to you all. 59º at 6AM - going to 102 today
My friend and I just got back from a cars and coffee meet locally. He's an old hotrodder and he wanted a ride in the Cobra. Lots of great cars and people. Nice to get out and socialize with so many people with like interests. The Cobra always draws a lot of attention.

I took Ken some tomatoes and a megamillions ticket, bought one for each of us. (y)

one of those canned rum drinks was enough for me. Can said "two shots". That sent me home with a nice buzz....

If your problem doesn't include "inoperable" or "indictment" then it isn't a problem.

Good brkfst at local place, just 4 of us today. Had a very good bowl with eggs, potatoes, sausage, covered in sausage gravy and cheese, and toast.
Small place so we don’t usually go there.
Got everything mowed. Needed it in places, other places not to bad.
