Good Morning
It’s 66 with a high of 80. Foggy this morning, sunny after it burns off.
Should be a good day for Ken’s party.
Yesterday was entirely consumed with traveling. Went pretty well, had a gyro failure enroute to Akron that had to be dealt with. We got to Akron uneventfully, the weather was clear, then made the short hop to Washington, PA where our maintenance is done. They swapped out the gyro, and had lunch ready for us. They got us right out, we made it back to Philly in time to do the Martha’s Vineyard trip as scheduled. Dinner at Mission BBQ afterwards, home in time to do a few chores like install the $56 plastic handle that adjusts the seat height in the Transit Connect replacing the duct tape that covered the metal stub. That was cheapest that I could find, it’s just about a one ounce piece of plastic.
Today wife is off to Farmers Market with the Transit Connect on its maiden voyage. That leaves me home with Zoe, and she has house cleaners scheduled for this morning. Zoe and I will go over to the shop to stay out of their way, hopefully they will be out of here early enough for me to get to Ken’s party. Not much else planned, I’ll work on finishing the P51 converted to electric power, and a bit of paperwork this morning.
