I am working on the Golden Recliner/lift chair this morning. Changing out the backup batteries in case of outage and replacing the heat pad. It has worked perfect for quite a few years.

Good Morning!!!! 72F @ 7:45AM. Sunny. Hot. High 101F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

Thee more insurance declines, and the seller only came down $5k on the price. Gonna think hard on it this weekend, and probably stall long enough next week until the realtor can get me a tour of that other home.

Good morning! Low of 66°, heading up to 97°. We hit 98° yesterday, higher than the forested 95°. As usual, no rain.

Didn't get to pull out the pinion tree yesterday. By the time I got back from grocery shopping, it was just too hot.
Moved to the agenda for today.
.... which also includes transplanting 12 morning glorys to their permanent home along the back courtyard fence. Letting them vine out along the fence.

Started up the drip irrigated already this morning for the 2nd weekly watering. Extended the times on each zone to account for the increased dryness and heat.

Drew and PopG, have fun over at Ken's. Sounds like it will be a great pool party!

RNG, maybe a Karmic message..... doesn't sound like the seller wants to make a sale. Hopefully you can get to the other house for a walk about.

Buppies, hope you can find a mower..... maybe have someone cut it for you in the meantime?

Scott, sounds like a great time was had by all! My sister is up in Boston, she has invited us multiple times to go out to the beach..... never made it. Never made it to the New England coast.... always were inland in the mountains.

Thomas, hope you can get a suitable replacement recliner. Maybe the old one can get fixed?

Rip, nice to hear that your expectations were exceded. Sounds like the dealer might want your future business. Have fun cutting.....

Ok so you can now tell me, that I told you so ! Starting capacitor didn’t fix anything !
The thing that makes it hard to go out and discard this compressor away is that it wants to start but just can’t make it up to high speed to make air ! I have had this compressor longer than I can remember, so it probably doesn’t owe me much ! Just having a hard time forking over $600 for a new one !
Hopefully the mowing and trimming will go better !

61F foggy mid 70's for high clear sky day.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Took short walk about this morning,going to take 2weeks plus before fields dry enough to mow even longer get the tractor in areas to remove stumps...above normal rain fall for us.

Last evening sharing bowl ice cream with the kittens heard 2 springs snap and crack than 22+ year old recliner cushion sunk good inch and just barely got it broken in the way I wanted it,got feeling Mrs. and I will be going recliner shopping today or tomorrow
Plans for today recliner shopping?? puttering .

Get some 1/8” sound stock and a couple heavy electrical crimps and patch the springs.

what I need to do with my couch. I put a board under it for the broken springs to sit on...

When working used to fly into Providence or Boston airports and drive out to the Cape where we operated a Waste to Energy plant. Took several tours of the cape at the time and brought the family with me a few times. Cranberry ponds were amazing and were all over the place. Never saw a bundle of cash go up the conveyor belts but we reclaimed lots of coins from the ash. Remembered something around 100,000 dollars a year

“Good” morning from SW Michigan (afternoon at this point). I say “good” because yesterday the Amazon delivery guy pulled into my driveway and smoked the awning on our motorhome (Tiffin Phaeton). We were not home but he was able to talk with one of our neighbors and they called us. He was very apologetic and gave me all the info needed to start filing an insurance claim. But man oh man!

A “quote” I used to tell my Marines when things got rough or our mornings were not going as well as expected.

Are you on fire? Nope.
Are you getting shot at? Nope.
Are you on fire getting shot at? Nope.
Well, if you can answer no to at least two of those questions, then your day is already going better than someone else’s out there.

Got a good couple hours with flail yesterday. Area about half done. Finish that area today.
