looking at post 20 more, it appears you just need to remove the pipe plug in the pressure port, this is what diverts the block to the loader, if you remove it, it will free flow, it appears the 3pt is tied into the hardlines, and none of the flex hoses that are run to the back, at least based on my looking at the tractor.

So You made me learn, I hate not knowing things. I have it figured out

pressure comes in from P port on block, goes through loader, comes out of PB, goes to back, goes into back hoe, or goes back up to front of tractor and connects on N port (circled before), the other line comes from loader Tank return, and backhoe return which is tied in at the loader valve tank return, shown in the second photo on post 25, you can also see the 2 lines coupled in the attach photo on this post as well

The N/PB in the block, is what feeds the 3pt, no pressure there, no 3pt. I finally understand this.

another edit, I was wondering why tank return didn't need a check valve, I assume (someone correct me), that the quick disconnect stops the flow through the splitter and forces it back to the tank.

based on all this, i still believe all you need to do is remove the plug in the p port on the relief/distribution valve

FINALLY!! We have a winner!

Remove the pressure port plug you installed and look for another allen head plug inside. Remove that, and you're good to go. Stop bothering with loops and extra hoses.

Hope this Helps, this is with loader and backhoe hooked up, the first photo, has a flex line coming out of the bottom, goes to the back drive side of the tractor, and is in the 3rd photo, which has friction tape wrapped around it on the right side. the 2 lines going to the back are tied into the loader valve.
Thanks for these, I should have taken pictures before I dismantled everything. My memory isn't what it used to be.

would you be willing to share the service pdf for your max 26?
Sure, but TractorByNet won't let me attach here, says too large of file. Any suggestions on how to get it to the group.
