Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #157,501
Good late (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 4.7C and it's presently sunny, gentle breeze and 18.3C. No rain here, but the Aerodrome indicated that they received 0.4mm so I had to check my gauge.

Lovely day yesterday and I fell asleep in my 'comfy chair' (a bottle of shiraz may have contributed) in the evening. I think that I'm still recovering from the travelling of over a week ago as I had a sleep-in this a.m.

Dhobi day today, although I have some branches to clear at the end of my driveway. They'd been cut by a trimming-crew but hadn't fallen to the ground for the clean-up/chipping crew.

Take care all.

57F and cloudy @ 21:30, heading to a low of around 41F overnight. Small chance of rain (21%)

Hopper feeder refilled first thing, also 1 suet feeder.

More excavating done on water supply line but still have a ways to go. Using the shrub bucket helped. Digging bar kicked my butt.

More dirt added to the south and center door to get the space under them closed up, was able to close the center door, but the south one is being stubborn. Rope broken when I tried pulling it.

Added some clay to a low spot in from of the north door to eliminate a mud puddle.

Sussed out the rewiring of the 8' light fixtures, got 4 of those done and a 5th one started. Four of the mounted to the walls and temporarily hooked up. They are bright.

Figured out I had miscount on the fixtures ... only have 12, not 16 ...

Move their boxes up to the shop for fire starter.

Woman came over after lunch with the neighbor lady, worked on vacuuming the stuff on the last table off and moving it onto a pallet.

She went over to Pancho's and picked up Mexican for dinner tonight.

Time to finish Menards order and then kick back on the couch and catch the rest of Dallas/Phillies game before heading to bed.

Hope everyone had a great Sunday ... (y)

36° right now...high in the mid-50's

Up and down most the night...to pee. It's been like this for a few weeks. Think it's time to see a doctor...

Good morning, low temp 38 and a high to 45°F. Wind ENE 6 mph. Showers.
There are showers in the forecast right up to Friday.

I will try dodging the showers and get that wood in.
The main reason for getting the wood in BEFORE freeze up is that my cold water line that feeds the hot water tank and the bathroom runs right over the window I put the wood into the basement through. I know, poor planning on my part.

Have a safe day all

I found that IF I drank anything after 9 P.M. that I was up and down like a jack in the box peeing.

56 and rain ended. Going to 69 and should see some sun later.

Glad you had a good trip, Buppies. When the news came on TV earlier, they showed a beautiful bridge in Roanoke...I've never seen it, but hope to soon.

Scaredy, hope your hockey injuries are better. Better stay off the ice for a while. ;)

yesterday decided to install new stove pipe on the woodstove...the part where it connects up into the chimney. I really need to be a contortionist and about 20 lbs lighter to fit between the back of the stove and the side of the fireplace, but somehow I get in there and out again...then I'm sore for a day. Need to put the wood rack on the porch and fill it today, and we're ready for the forecasted cold spell.

I need to get back to you know where. ⛰️

Morning all, 50 going up to mid 60's , rain is showing up later.

Trip to see son in friends band went well and he did fine on bass guitar.

Trip to store to get cannoli shells and wife made filling from lactose free ricotta she found.
First cannoli in over 30 years, yum

Son in hat on bass he got from my brother since he wasn't using it.
He is only a sub while their bass player is out with a broken wrist.

Good morning! 60˚F raining. First rain since Labor Day. 1.2" so far and light rain continues.

I guess the farm will turn from a dust bowl to a mud bowl, but I'm off today and don't have to deal with the mud. This weekend there were more people than last weekend and the next two weekends the weather will be cooler and even more people are expected. Two more tractor drivers were hired and trained to run two tractors continuously over the next weekends. I was by my self Saturday afternoon/evening and was swamped, Sunday with two tractors going we were able to keep up and not leave people behind. Each trailer holds 60 people and we were loading up every 15 minutes at the two stops.

Even though Saturday evening was 88˚ all 10 campfires sold out. Next time you are burning limbs just think that in Texas that would bring $90 for each small pile (minus the cost of the band playing western music in the background to create the right ambiance).

The fire at the pumpkin patch that destroyed 73 vehicles was in Temple TX not here.

Our pumpkin patch was ravished (sold) and will need another 2 - 18 wheelers of fresh pumpkins again this week.

SC you need to get your hockey team to help you when the other team gangs up on you.

Nice Fall foliage pics! None here yet.
