Tractor
MF 2660 LP, 3 Kubota B2150, Kubota BX2200, MH Pacer, Gravely 5660, etc.
Had a disagreement with a tall stump hidden by even taller grass ... and an added excuse of dusk lighting... the tractor is a MF2660HD low profile made in 2010 and sold new in early 2011. Neither the thick parts book nor the owner's manual show this style wheel at all so I do not have an accurate part number. Apparently the dealer found it in order to get me the price below.

OK. AGCO wants $765 for a new rim. I'm looking for a good used rim. The tire is 11.2-24.

Orig was tubeless but does not have to be. I do want/need the "waffle style" wheel [as you can see with the current stud locations and square holes 4" apart from each other] that gives options for front wheel spacing in order to match the one on the other side. I am 300 + miles from the tractor using it monthly. Have yet to contact Unverferth or other aftermarket sources. No feel yet for prices there. Local dealer has struck out looking for used ones.

No luck so far with salvage yards.

Worst case, one dealer believes it can be straightened and then use tube in it BUT it would cost me one monthly round trip AND in excess of $300 at price of gas to go get the thing in order to have it straightened.

Any suggestions or info based on your experience or contacts ?

Take the wheel off and demount the tire.
Then, place the rim flat on a cement floor. Get a 4-6 pound hammer and go to it. The rim bent once, it will bend again. If you are real concerned about paint and dents, use a hardwood block as a punch. It'll come, if you hit it hard enough.
I would not be surprised if you can still go tubeless......

I've fixed worse than that and my lips never quit whistling.

If you look they sell that wheel in all factory colors. The inner disk may be different to fit your hub.

Eagle 1 -- you get the reward & gold star on the forehead ! After finding a used wheel at a PA dealer (and him refusing to sell it for less than $500) and after a trusted dealer nearer the farm turned down the job of straightening the wheel after seeing the pictures ... I used your suggestion. Ag Wheel Express powder coated the wheel they had in stock to my color, shipped it to me and I had the new aftermarket wheel in 4 days. Perfect fit. Cost was $375 for the wheel incl. paint job plus $52 shipping Iowa to MD. Put it on the tractor Monday and bush hogged about 22 acres. Just like it never happened.

One more feather in the cap of good people and the value of TBN to all of us.

Thanks !!!

Note: my inner disk was not damaged and it unbolts from the outer waffle ring on the rim. I reused the original disk.

Still pricey but new and not a super long wait.

Check with Unverferth.

I knew about Unverferth & had seen them at farm shows. This problem was solved via new third party wheel from Ag Wheel Express as noted in post #7 above. Thanks anyway.

No doubt it is made by Unverferth. Good price too.

Check with Unverferth.

My problem is already solved (bought from AgWheelExpress) but to follow up:

Just for reference I contacted Unverferth and got this response:

Dear JWR,
Thank you for your interest in Unverferth wheel products. For that particular application, we would have to custom manufacture a replacement. Your dealer would want to verify the bolt circle, pilot and groupings of bolts (2 or 3), bolt size and the offset of the ring should you be trying to match the current. They take about 7 days to manufacture and will be powder coated to match your tractor. The suggested retail price for the rim and disk assembly is $1,094. Your nearest Unverferth wheel dealer would be able to assist you with ordering.

At Your Service,
Unverferth Mfg. Co., Inc.

I would say that qualifies Unverferth for the most idiotic pricing and response in the last decade, at least. Politely stupid.
1) It is absurd to go do custom manufacturing for a wheel that is extremely common and used on multiple brand tractors.
2) MF sells them for the also absurd price of $765
3) Ag Wheel Express gets them somewhere (makes them?) and sells them for $375 plus shipping AND they fit several brands including Ford and John Deere.
