no expert here. but I think what remains after failure somewhat depends on the material used where the break occurs. chrome moly frames i have seen broken did not distort in any way they reached failure and fractured with no real distortion, same for most cast Iron. Now mild steel oh yeah much more likely to pretzel a bit before it fails completely. Cast steel somewhere in the middle but it sure would be a lot easier to weld for a repair than cast iron possibly for this Kioti's case.The way the tractor broke seems opposite of what would happen with too much weight in the FEL. It would bend upward in the middle.
