Pallet Forks

   / Pallet Forks #21
I got some salvaged forks and built my mask. Picked up more than the loader can lift (semi trailer) with them. Bending your bucket with clamp on forks will mess up any grading/leveling, snow removal you plan on doing. I also added a reciever tube to the lower center bar after the photo. Message me for prints and/or models.

Any forks sold should handle 1500lbs.

I did the same. Bought a Titan Blank SSQA and welded up brackets on it. I've lifted over 2500lbs

Well I have a set of DIY 'clamp on forks'.
Never damaged anything.
BUT, LOL, my main usage is to collect all the wind blown branches every season.
OK, I did move my generator but that's not all that heavy.

Mine 'DIY's' are simply 3 inch channel stock and clamped via 5/8 bolts and that works 4 me and I bet I can load more than my CUT can lift.

Made my own clamp on forks for my original Ford 3000. Modified them to fit the rack when I got my Massey. Still use them regularly, haven't bent or broken them. Made from 2x4x.188 material, tapered at the front.

People have talked about fork capacity, something to remember when upgrading or having multiple SSQA loaders. I bought a set of medium duty sized forks for my L6060 but then bought a M135GX with SSQA and proceeded to break the welds on the top of each fork. The forks did not have a clear weight designation. Then I replaced the M135GX with a M7-171 with it a set of 10,000 pound forks with a SSQA adapter so I could use them on the L6060 and SVL75-2 I had also added. Bad idea. The 10,000 pound forks are so heavy they seem to take half of the L6060 lift capacity so I bought another set matched to the SVL75-2 and L6060. Now that the L6060 has been replaced with a M5-111, once again I need to make sure. Having a tine break off at the welded top attachment is too much anxiety.

Kicking around investing in a set of pallet forks for my B3200.... Looks like there are droves of them to consider so I was hoping for some hands on advice about quality.... 1,500 lb capacity would probably suffice... Who has purchased these & would you recommend them?
Live in Phx.Az. Went to forklift salvage yard and purchased front carriage & 2x42" forks. A little welding to modify carriage & it attaches the same as my 6' FEL. About $400. invested.

Thanks for all the input folks! I've got the quick attach on my FEL, so I'm leaning toward dedicated forks.... I've yet to research prices.... That could be a deterrent...lol
