What is the procedure to bleed your brakes?

On some the engine needs to be running and you open the bleeder with a hose connected to it and returning to the hydraulic reservoir.
And just let it flow through the loop until air free.

Others you have to have the engine running to maintain the fluid level and it's a two person job, applying pressure then opening the bleeder,
then closing the bleeder before the end of the stroke and repeating until a good pedal is achieved.

Are your brake pedals returning to the top of their travel? the springs aren't loose.

I tried running a hose from the bleeder back into the transmission fill port with the engine running but there was 0 flow. I then tried with my vacuum pump and my wife pressing the pedal, of course after having pumped it several times, I get mostly air and after repeating this about three times and about 2 ounces of oil, there is no more oil coming out at all and the pedal will just go to the floor, this is with the engine running,(to fill the master cylinder bowl). The return spring is good. Sure looks like the m/c to me...

I agree it sounds as if brake master cylinder is faulty.
