Your towing rigs and trailers

You guys might wanna go into PMs for the rest of this back-n-forth. I'm definitely not interested nor does it add value to the OP's subject at hand. Others might not be interested in your banter either. Just a reminder -

"Lets see your towing rigs.(truck, trailer, tractor) the more pics the better.I know I never get tired of the pics you guys post.

Matt T."

I think it's beneficial to debate these things, someone will learn something.

So the question for some is; do I really want to bounce around in that rattly diesel pickup every day,,when a lighter, less expensive truck will pull my tractor for the few times that I need to every year?

BINGO !!! I have had two f250's and one f350 with the 6.7 powerstroke diesel... Yes I miss the torque and hp, but not the ride. I'm waiting for the new powerboost to arrive...

Your question is meant to steer in only one direction by asking a question that only looks at one aspect of a larger question. However the question about an engine alone is only looking at one side of the equation while ignoring the other elephant in the room. Most truck guys will select a truck based upon a chassis first and engine second. This isn't my first rodeo about baited questions.

I'm pretty comfortable with my answer.

And... you can't argue against stupid.

Because this post has gotten to be less pictures and more arguing and point making.......

Theres 2 points you make, but they could be expanded into several other areas.
One point I would make is my truck doesnt bounce around or rattle (inside). Thats a thing of the past. Im on like my 30th diesel HD truck. In the latest versions, you go outside and it has a nice diesel snort, but inside, you barely hear anything. Theres little difference in the cabin enviroment between a diesel or gas pickup in terms of noise, or " rattle " as you call it. In fact, a gas truck with off road tires would make a lot more noise than todays diesel with quiet highway tires.
But the second point you make about pulling a small tractor around a few times a year is definitely a case for a light duty truck with a gas engine. I dont know what type of weight you are towing, though.
Youd never get your money back on a Powerstroke, Duramax or Cummins unless you tow heavy or drive 15,000 or more miles per year. In fact, it actually is bad NOT to run a diesel good and hard frequently. It allows soot to build up in the DPF.
I have no choice, there isnt a gas engine offered that will pull much more than 30,000lbs... even the vaunted 2.5L ecoboost
I'm pulling 44,000lbs 2 times a week so the choice is made for me.
Your choice sounds pretty easy, too.

My old friend...things are pretty tame around here these days.

Maybe you 2 oughta get a room
You can talk ecoboosts over a nice chardonnay
