Good morning,

Surfing the Web I found on the Tym corporate website a very interesting information.
If it is confirmed it means that the new stage 5 Tym T475 will not have a Kukje engine but a Yanmar engine.
Look at this screen shot :
Engine Yanmar.JPG

You will find this info here :

Yanmar and Kukje experts, could you confirm if the engine we see on the following pictures is Yanmar or Kukje ?

TYMNorsky, we need your help ! Is this engine the same you have on your T474 or is it really different ?

Thanks for your help,

It sounds very strange as, on the same website, we get the specifications for these tractors and it says that the T475 have the Kukje engine A2300N4 :

Obviously, the webdesigner made a mistake .

But where and which one ?

Not exactly an expert, but from the injection pump setup (throttle cable, injection lines, etc) on the pictures, I say it's a Kukje.

But then again, not sure how the equivalent HP Yanmar engine looks like.

Well, I was helping my dad pruning the kiwi trees and it started raining...

I was thinking a bit more about this and the photo is definitely the Kukje engine. Note the butterfly valve on the exhaust to increase the exhaust temps to do the regen process. Almost like an engine brake.

The Yanmar engines are Common rail and use the extra injection at the DPF for the regen process.

The TYM T454 uses the Yanmar 4TNV88-CC engine, which is common rail.

Gentlemen,

I think you are right.
This is a Kukje engine.
If I read the official powerpoint presentation of Stage 5 Tym T475 in Eastern Europe here :
https://www.agroservisop.cz/userdata/articles/2/prezentace_official_2020_tym.pdf
I realize that Tym T475 does have the AN2300N4 stage 5 Kukje engine.
As a consequence, the mention of Yanmar engine, for this tractor, on TYM corporate website, is a webdesigner's mistake.

Thanks for your help,

Phil

Ha Pedro, yes, I see now this buttefly valve.
I did'nt know it was specific of Kukje engines !

It was something that Kukje came up with, since they run fully mechanical engines. Well, I'm not 100% sure that it was Kukje idea but I've only seen it on their engines.

With a common rail engine, would be very easy to just add the extra injector at the DPF for the regen process and control it electronically. On a mechanical engine, it's much to do that, so Kukje creates a restriction of the exhaust gases so it increases the temperature at the DPF.

There a bunch of these new Branson tractors already sold in the US using this system but I haven't heard anything whether this system works well or not.

Says on Yanmars website.... Yanmar engine.

Yanmar SM475 Compact Tractor | 74 HP & 3,325 lb Lift Capacity SM Series | YANMAR Tractor
We were talking about the TYM T475 which did came with the Kukje/TYM engine. A 48HP tractor in the European market.

That one you shared, it's technically a TYM rebranded to Yanmar and does indeed use the Yanmar engine but it's a 75HP in the US market.
