I’m looking to buy a tractor in the next couple of weeks and have it narrowed down to these two. I’m just not sure if there is an advantage of one over the other.
The nearest TYM dealer is in Ocala, I’m in Gainesville, FL. I have an RK locally in town.
TYM can get me the exact same setup and implements for $2,000 less. If I get the HST from TYM it’s only a $1,000 more.
My dilemma. The RK tractor is newer - comes with a premium leather seat (not that big of a deal) and the customer service has been phenomenal. The dealer put the big box store down and I’m not sure I really liked that kind of sales tactic.
I don’t know much about the Ocala tractor dealership. Gainesville is closer for service work. RK has a one year longer warranty on the power train.
The dealer is $50 less on delivery.
Does anyone have any dealings with a dealer and is there anything else I should be doing or asking for?
Thanks,
Bill
