Welding Web Down?

I'm mostly politically incorrect, so I need that part. Took a Frontier Airlines plane from Portland to Denver last August and the head "stewardess" was trained by the Wright Bros!
Maybe not one trained by the Wright Bros, but I would definitely enjoy a flight if there was a 'head stewardess'!

In times like these Terry isn't finding table attendant applicants Mark. It's tough all over.

We all have to make sacrifices, Jon.

That should earn you another elbow or capped knee.

We're missing a few little details that I'll work on tomorrow but you can head over and register now! Looking forward to making a great welding community!

After things are fully set up I'll send out an invite. In the mean time please go ahead and start posting.

New WW subscriptions notices are showing up on my Tapatalk feed but I can’t open them yet.

Oh since I started this thread I guess I should report that the original WW version is back. ( and running concurrently with the newer one).

IMHO #11 + 12 will become a Chevy-Ford debate that'll never end.
We'll see!

Now who will be the advertisers?--, you do want sponsors, don't you?
3 - 4 welding manufactures for sure, but then?

Metal shops, probably not as they need to be local as shipping would be a killer.

Give it more thought.
Don't get me wrong, I'm interested and will sign up but won't buy shares.

Shares are not for sale. Only free accounts are for sale if you can afford them.

To be blunt, we don't need a single direct advertiser to make the site. I wasn't thinking of starting a welding forum before people asked for it. Now that I've spent a few days and a few bucks I might as well at least invite the crowd.

I don't mean for it to replace this welding forum but rather for people who are into welding and fabrication but not necessarily tractors.

Is there a PM function over there? On some sites a stranger can start a conversation on your public profile page and it stays visible there forever.

PM, yes. Profile posts is what I think you're talking about, which I think we can disable. I think users can delete any profile posts too. If not I'll enable that. Lota of thinking.

OK, on that basis, go for it.
And add me to the subscriber list.

Maybe the school of fish will turn? I'm thinking we're off to a good start on WS.

If either welding site can be read without joining, then I say  !

If either site can be joined without hassle, then I say  !

Let's be positive and appreciate having both sites in whatever form for now, and let's thank our most revered Muhammad for giving us even more than just TBN and it's considerable "Welding" sub-forum! :cool2:

btw, I got an email today from WW saying that my half-a__ed registration was probably 'lost' and I can just start over. I'm seeing that as nothing short of opportunity, so we have two welding sites and the welding sub-forum here on TBN??

:cloud9: Guys.

That's how I look at it too. The more properly working sites the better :)
