Three months? Do they think the handout money will last that long? Looks like we'll be printing a lot of money this year.

Yep....first of many checks yet to come. They are trying to figure out now how to hand out money to 5 million small businesses that turns into a free grant in a year or two (bill language yet to be seen) if they keep employees on.

In the past, all this FED action has merely been book keeping money to balance phony bank records back and forth. Once you start handing cash out to people, that 'money' turns into something real, chasing after goods and services.....the actual definition of inflation. I think we end up with an inflationary depression out of this.

And no one seems to worry about how we will pay it back.

Won't be paid back. Can't be paid back. Been zero attempt to EVER pay it back.

Federal debt is 23.6 trillion today......last time there was even a drop in the debt was in the mid 1950's. By next year this time, the debt will likely be close to 30 trillion. The phony 'balance sheet' of the FED will probably be close to 10 trillion of completely made up phony money. Money has nearly completely detached from reality.

of course without test kits, seems this is pretty unreliable

But it keeps the numbers down.

Well stated. The number of U.S. deaths I saw this morning was 544.

I try to not be led down the rabbit hole of thinking every Tom, Dick and Harry that writes an article in regards to COV-19 is offering fact. Most, if not all, are offering opinion. No different than we do here.

If I want data I go to the CDC website and my State website.
Actually from reading a lot of the articles it seems plagiarism is the model people are following.
And if you can trust the state it would be a good thing.
In Mississippi:
Gov. Tate Reeves rejected calls today for a statewide shelter-at-home order, a measure of caution against the spread of COVID-19 being rapidly deployed next door in Louisiana, elsewhere in the United States and across the globe.
No problem here, so says TateR.
The number of U.S. deaths I saw this morning was 802

And no one seems to worry about how we will pay it back. I also think they should have good oversight in making sure handout money
goes to the needy. Don't send some to Warren Buffet...

Remember it's all over.
Feb. 26: Trump Vice President Pence with leading the federal
response to the coronavirus. The president takes questions in the White
House brieing room for the irst time, saying the countryç—´ 15 coronavirus
cases would soon be down ç”°lose to zero and that he does not believe
the spread of the virus throughout the U.S. to be inevitable.
Easter is coming.

Keep cool and spaced out.

Newbury,

Am I remembering correctly that you have some professional career experience that may be relevant to this subject in some way ?

My best friend, like a Brother to me, told me last year he will be cremated. He wants his ashes scattered on our farm during the next Memorial Weekend wheeling event our group has here every year. Exact site to be determined by those present. I was very honored that he would think that highly of us. Knowing the history of those events it will definitely be a celebration of having him in our "family".

My neighbor's wife passed away last year. She always told him to get a flagpole. So he did. They had a little ceremony with family and put some of her ashes in the base of the flagpole, in her garden, and other places special to her. It was quite touching. :)

Up in the Santa Cruz mountains 7 miles from pavement lived a logger off grid... when he passed his widow put his ashes on the front seat of his circa 1950 Powerwagon... surrounded by redwoods.
