/ˈpanik/

noun: panic

sudden uncontrollable fear or anxiety, often causing wildly unthinking behavior.

I have seen no signs of this or heard of any reports either...The same type of buying occurs every time a major (winter or tropical) storm approaches a region...prudent measures are NOT considered an act of panic...!

There certainly is panic going on. Just look at the cleared shelves in grocery stores, gun and ammunition sales, etc... That's called panic buying.

He didn't say riots. He said panic. It is panic. And he's correct.

Nope ... don't see it.

As Slash points out, when interruptions of normal daily life are anticipated, (smart) people take prudent measures to account for the anticipated disruption.

Now - stop adding to the hysteria by incorrectly categorizing something as something which it clearly isn't ...

We don't drink alot of milk but when I was at Costco Monday, wife said to get a 2 pack.. I figured one would go bad before we got to it, but wife froze it right away.. we don't like milk that has been frozen, but better than not having any for cooking/cereal/etc..

Yes, especially the ones that bought all the flour.
I would bet that 90% that got have no clue as to how to use it.
And several jugs of milk at one time, hope they like it when it turns on them.
The extreme closures are also over kill, I can't believe the ACLU hasn't been in court already over them.
If it had been the President doing these closures it would have been a _hit storm.

Milk freezes very nicely and keeps for months in the freezer. Just take a few cups out of the jug so it doesn't expand and blow the cap.

Hoarding is never prudent
