I have yet had a chance to use my new snow plow machine, the most snow we have had at one time is about three inches on the grass and just a trace on the driveway and it was melted within a day.

We have a chance of snow on Saturday, although the chances are getting smaller as the storm might go out to sea south of us. Plow stays on the truck until next week, then I start the process of 'summerizing' my truck/tractor/cars.

Had around five inches last night. No wind, no drifting, not normal for here. Not enough for the blower, just plowed with the blade.

Yep, here too. Im in west WY by the ID border. We had a good 4.5ft of settled snow in the yard but it's melting fast.

Around here, it's been the least snowiest winter since 2000. I did my driveway 4 times this season...one of which I didn't even bother with the tractor, just busted out the shovel and scooted the snow along.

This is what we hope for the next week, most roadside will be gone and barring a heavy rain most mud too:p

It's been sunny and warm for awhile and I thought Spring was here. Snow was melting quickly and the mud season started and then ...... it snowed today. Only got about 4" but there is still about a foot of snow on the sunny side of the roof and 1.5' to 2' on the shady side. Still 2' to 2.5' in the bush. The forecast calls for colder temps for the next week but no snow until Thursday. I put the snow blower away on Sunday, thinking I was done for this season. But I'm not taking the chains off until ALL of the ice is off the driveway.

I'd say the total snowfall this season hasn't been unusually different from other years ...... other than the one CRAZY event that saw 48" in 24 hours. Sure wish I took some videos of the snow moving operations I went through when that happened. That had to be a once in a lifetime event for here.

Back in the days of 1950's in my youth, there were only shovels.. one shovel-full at a time. 1/4 mile long driveway held a lot of shovel-fulls and sometimes 12-20" storms. But keeping at it, and eventually it gets done.
Dreamed of a power machine to move snow.

Nobody to figure out how to rig a plow on a car in the 50's? Mechanics Illustrated and Popular Mechanics had all kinds of diy stuff.

In the early 50's, central IA, most people didn't have a car. Father couldn't buy a new car after WWII because had to already have a car to do that. So purchased an old Model A that we had to have for at least a year. Then a new '49 Ford Stationwagon Woody. High maintenance on the wood cladding.
But the driveway to the long 2-block alleyway had to be shoveled.. but it was pretty flat.. :)

LOL when watching the Elec Smart move a couple inches of snow.. :D

A very cool High School Tech Ed class made this for one of its residents.
