Adjustable Cat 1 and Cat 2 Quick hitch

I am digging and digging to find a quick hitch that will go between Cat 1 width to Cat 2 width. I read in an old post the Priefert made one but I am not finding it for sale anywhere. I do not want Pats, with my old cat 1 tractor and quick hitch I could switch all of my implements without getting off the tractor. Now that I have upgraded to a Cat 2 tractor I am hating getting on and off the dang tractor and Pats only gets me half way there. Lol.

Any suggestions on where to find an adjustable Cat 2/Cat 1 quick hitch would be greatly appreciated.

Jlinden7, why not use your cat1 hitch on your new tractor ? TS sells the bushings to take cat1 pins to cat2 tractor side ,width on your tractor is adjustable to fit the cat1 hitch.

It is being sold with the old tractor. Plus I plan to get a couple cat 2 class implements.

Maybe modify a Cat 2 hitch to make it adjustable, using ideas from Preifert or Case IH hitches.

It is being sold with the old tractor. Plus I plan to get a couple cat 2 class implements.

I bought a cat2 quick hitch for my NH tn65 and modified my implements to cat2 width. Going forward will buy only attachments that are cat1cat2 ready. Why not buy another cat1 quick hitch and purchase your new attachments cat1cat2 capable. Hope this helps.

I don't have the answer but I would surely like to know the answer. We have a Kubota MX5800. Its lift arms are suitable for Cat 1 and Cat 2 attachments (using a bushing to go up from Cat 1 to Cat 2). We used Pat's QH system (which is great) but we wanted to go to a quick hitch for several reasons and bought a Cat 1 quick hitch. All of our attachments are either Cat 1 or compatible with both Cat 1 and Cat 2, with one exception: We have a ballast box that is just barely too wide to fit the inside width of a Cat 1 quick hitch. I tried to find a way to use this box with our Cat 1 quick hitch but haven't been able to do so. All of our other attachments work well with the Cat 1 quick hitch (in some instances with adapters). If anyone (a) has an answer about how to make a Cat 1 quick hitch compatible with a Cat 2 attachment or (b) knows of a quick hitch, like those mentioned above that are no longer available, that can be adjusted to fit a Cat 2 width, I would love to know about it.

I had the same problem. All my attachments are cat 1 but the width of lower pins can vary from 26 to 32.5 inches . I is cat 1 to cat 2
Also the height of upper pins of my attachments can vary from 15 to 27 inches.
I made my Flexible own quick hitch. It works hydraulic, both the width of lower hooks and the upper hook height.
The upper hook also opens and closes automatic the lower hook latches.
All adjustments are operable from cabin. However hydraulic hoses and drive shaft must join out of cabin.

That is quite a device you have there. Really good work. Too much for me to do but thanks a lot for sharing what you did.

How can your implements all be cat one when cat one is one specific dimension and cat two is a different dimension.... Cat one is clearly 26 inches (+/-) and cat two is 32 inches (+/-)..

This is made from cabin by hydraulic stabilizer bar. There is a lock for locking the legs.

For what it is worth, I reached out to LeeAgra and their sales manager advised me that they are currently taking orders for Farmhand quick hitches for delivery in the early new year with another probable production run for delivery in spring ‘20.

Have mine on order now.
