Good morning!!!!

started out my day by having shower head squirt water right in my eye. Cleaning ladies brush around in there and must not realize all those little streams are aimable, and they get them all out of whack. One on top right was perfect angle so when I put on shower it got me before I could move.
Nice shot lady.

picked a lot of veggies today, okra and peppers. One more week and I"m going to call it quits.

worked on motorhome, got both tv's to work, hope to be off at 8am tomorrow morning to get replacement tires.
So I'll be up early letting jacks down and putting things away. I'm guessing it will take them about two hours to change and balance six tires.
Am concerned how they will do with add on TPMS system, which puts heavy sensors on the end of each air cap, and each one is gently bolted on.
Hoping they will gently take them off too and reinstall at right location, so as not to confuse unit.

BEF, you are doing great!

I started my little tractor today and Ellen moved it for me so I didn’t have to climb. Started remarkably well. I hope the others do too. I want another SCUT, but I’m just going to wait until my valve replacement and make sure everything works ok before diving in.

Got a new split king adjustable bed delivered today, just bought it Friday. My side is firm, Ellen’s is medium. Hoping for better sleep, we shall see. I loved my old Temperpedic king, but it was 8 years old and we wanted individual adjustability.
I’m not able to lift or move much yet, but I’m adept at writing the checks! LOL

Prayers for all you folks.

Drew- I never enjoy rude morning awakenings. Usually it’s something that I stepped in. I am a little bug eyed reading your RV thread in its entirety. Wifey and I talked about a similar trip and actually did some basic research. One of our biggest challenges is the used RV dealership owned by one of closer friend’s significant other. It would become a lose-lose outcome. I’ll be following closely and good luck.

BEF- Thanks for sharing. I truly hope that some day effective treatment interventions can be found. I hope today that you were/are neuropathy free.

Billy- The only way to make coffee. I have cobbled together 3 different drip systems (due to breakage) that make coffee as you. I do use organic paper filters dripping into a pre-warmed thermos carafe. I/We like decent beans and grind our own grounds, but do not roast our own beans.

Trail cleaning with wifey and Brogen went as planned.

“…. Well time to get clean up numb out the rest of the day”- Thomas  I consider martinis to be clear liquids tonight.;).

Not much around the house I can appropriately eat, but I do see either grilled, air fried, or sautéed scallops and re-heated mashed potatoes in my future later.

BEF, that is so true. I have trouble thinking "around" the box into the realms of someone who's mind is a starcluster of thoughts. About your potatoes, hope you got enough to have some with your frozen burritos.

Billy, my wife ran out of her regular coffee and bought some Maxwell House in a bind. Small town woes.

Cooked NY Strips, green beans and wifey made a nice salad with spring greens. I cut up a home grown purple onion in very thin strips, and my wife said it "made" the salad. We had the associate pastor, his wife (worship paster) and son come over. His son and mine ate hot dogs. We all took the 2 person kayak for a few rounds in our pond. Fun workout.

We may have a river otter in our pond. Does anyone have experience with them? Are they real destructive (like I'm figuring)?

I hope all of you had a great Sunday. Prayers for our team, especially those on the mend. I like reading of all of your exploits "pushing the envelope" getting better, bit by bit, day by day.

Drew, that is quite the bounty. Some of that okra is really fat in diameter. Is that a special variety? My daughter always steps out of the shower, leaving the pull knob up, and it will get you every time.

J, I like scallops. Are they easily purchased up there? I've been told the ones down here are punched out of stingrays. Not sure if that is true or not.

Removing the dry stack blocks was a challenge. Almost went and got the tractor. When I dry stacked, I filled with our local, manufactured sand. After over 5 years and all our rain it was almost as solid as mortar. Chipped a good number of corners getting them loosened. But success, and moved them out of the way

Hmmm, cannot load apic.

George brought up his TLB and a roll of mesh.

This mornings excitement:

I took Gray2 out on the front walk this morning to do the daily "airing out of the cat". I looked across the street and from about rooftop level a large object was bearing down just to my left about 10' high as it was approaching and descending rapidly as it was coming down in a glide. I yelled and waved my hands and the owl aborted his mission and swooned upwards just missing my house. Gray2 still must have had some of his 9 lives left. The wingspan of the owl was about 4' and 9 pound Gray2 looked tiny compared to him.

I think in 3 days I'll have enough okra for a shake.

Nice poster BEF. We need to look at thinks in different perspectives.

Nice vegetable haul Drew. My fall plantings are starting to sprout.

Don, glad you were near the cat. Was he on a leash? I believe we have that owl's uncle, with a wingspan that seems as wide as my car. We keep seeing glimpses of him when we drive up at night. Our chickens are in their cage before dusk. My neighbor's have had multiple cats go missing. He says he saw it outside one morning, perched on their birdbath....just waiting for the morning "airing out the cat" moment.

I'm not even going to tell my wife about okra chocolate shakes....She'll start wondering what other crazy stuff we are up to.
