Gannons are sold under Woods as the (Construction) class of BB at their site

Not sure if they ever changed the 3 point hook up doubt my gannon has the ability to be "quick hitched"

There are no Gannon ROBBs built anymore. Once Woods shut down the California Gannon facility, that was it. And to the best of my knowledge, NO Gannon with hydraulic actuated rippers is quick hitch compatible. :( That in itself is sad, but it is what it is. ;)

The old ones dont. The top hook needs to be adjusted up, but otherwise fits. Its really tight squeezing the top hook past the scarfier actuator mechinism, but it fits. I'm sure that clearance issue is why they didnt make them standardized. From what I can tell it's still the same mechinism on the new Woods blades & not QH spec. At least they dont advertise QH compatible anywhere when I looked.

I have a Bush Hog 720 ROBB. 72" wide - 715#. That's right at 120# per foot of width. Behind my Kubota M6040 it works great.

I have a mile long gravel driveway and 38 years of experience out here. There is TRUTH to the old statement - "with ground engagement implements - weight is your friend".

I finally upgraded to the M6040 so I could adequately use heavier implements. My Land Pride GS3596 @ 565# behind my Ford 1700 did great for winter snow removal. It just bounced along behind the Ford in the summer. With the M6040 I upgraded to a Rhino 950 - 96" wide @ 1100#. What a joy.

My gravel driveway is a mix. Gravel, sand, silt & volcanic ash. It becomes concrete with the summer. The ROBB with its manual rippers does a real job on potholes and the like.

Rather than just a box blade - I would suggest a box blade with rippers or a ROBB. The ROBB will have rippers also.

Thanks for the info. I assumed all box blades had scarifiers, but either way, I won't buy one without them. The hydraulic option, especially lift and tilt, look awesome, but the price tag doesn't! The ROBB seems like a good compromise.

I don't want to derail your post but........ If you are considering hydraulic top, tilt or angle. I would suggest - first - hydraulic top link. I thought it was a bunch of bull - until I got the Fit Rite hydraulic top link.

The beauty is - it works with ALL 3-point implements. It's a great help in attaching all my 3-point implements. And with my Rhino 950 rear blade, or Land Pride SGC22584( LPGS ) or Bush Hog R720( ROBB )...... Adjustment on the fly. No stopping & twist, twist, twist on the manual top link.

After half a dozen - stop & manual top link adjustments - and finally saying "well, that's good enough". With the hydraulic top link you just keep on tweaking that hydraulic handle until it's perfect. All while you continue on your merry way down the driveway.

Nope, you're on track. I've already put together a parts list to add that myself. Looks handy enough to be worth the time and expense especially since I can add it myself. Thanks!

Just bought a CK4010 HST (came with a loader, backhoe and rotary butter) and a Box Blade is my first needed implement. I called EA and they're 10-12 weeks lead time on anything they sell so I'm looking for suggestions on alternative brands. I'm looking for a fixed tailgate unit, 72". I want something quality so not really looking at the Tractor Supply type brands unless there is one you'd recommend.

Thanks in advance.

Just picked up this 7 ft Kioti BB made by woods comp.Had a 7 week wait.
