ZERO excuses for NOT answering the phone or emails.
You might not have product to ship but part of running a business is communication while you are open for business and costs nothing.

I was ready to order a PTB, but I can't even get their website to take my order! They won't answer the phone either! I am going to go buy the steel and manufacture it myself. It will probably cost me less and I'll get the satisfaction of building it myself! I might change my mind, but unless they get their act together....

Someone should be able to rattle someone's cage at bxpanded. My FIL is 85 years old and no one blows him off. He gets answers and he doesn't give up until satisfied. There has to be someone in charge there.

If you read my post #52 my PTB should have been shipped today.

Just got off the phone with them and the guy assured me it was going to ship on Monday. At least I already have my credit card statement and they have been paid.

Still waiting patiently. Well kind of.

Do they update their website with tracking information when they ship?
(If you ordered online)

I ordered a PTB and hydraulic pressure test kit for my BX25 on 4/25. I haven't heard anything yet about when it'll ship but haven't reached out either.

I've never seen a PTB in person but based on other reviews it's well worth the wait even if it took several months. I didn't see anything else like it when shopping for a tooth bar. BXpanded seems to make products to order in house rather than having a ton in stock ready to go like other companies that import from China do.

I don't mind the wait as long as the quality is as others have described. I'll keep this updated, but probably wont reach out to BXpanded until it hits the 1 month mark. It definitely seems to be their busy season!

Gorhamax, good words.
I look to this website for the good and the bad. I too never saw a PTB before I bought one. They are made 12 miles from my farm in Knoxville Tennessee. Now several of my buddies have or want one too. Like many have claimed PTB really helps dig and clear land. I have waited on Everything Attachments, Danuser, Kubota and other equipment too. Hope you get your order soon and share your results.

Actually sounds like poor planning on the consumers part. People order implements in the Spring and then are disappointed when manufacturing takes longer then planned. Hurry up and wait or do without. Living in Alaska, the only think immediate is the weather. My Wicked 60 grapple from EA took several months and the wait was well worth it. Same is true with the Piranha Tooth Bar from Bxpanded.

poor planning on my part???
i guess your right, i should have bought my tractor last winter, which i assume is their slow time. but, seeing as i've had my tractor for about 1 month, and ordered the PTB as soon as i decided on which tractor to get, not sure what else i could've done. people aren't complaining on how long it takes to make the product, it's the absolute failure to respond to the consumer, and when they do, it's with false info.
i don't think i've seen anyone say they are cancelling their order, i know i'm not.

Believe me, I understand. Poor customer service and lack of communication is very irritating and so unnecessary. Companies need to demand more from themselves and their employees. We are seeing a nationwide epidemic of company apathy.

Not just companies. Much of today's youth don't care enough to qualify as apathetic. I started working as a paperboy at 13, but most students graduating high school this year have never had a job. Many can't read a tape measure or make change without a calculator, but can post to Instagram and are seeking sponsors.

Just talked with Tony(i think that's his name), and he says my order will ship on Wednesday. I ordered the PTB and the hydraulic test kit.
Fingers crossed Wednesday is the day. I was also told it would ship last Friday, so we'll see.

Don't want to wait? Make your own! :cool2:
(Also, they don't offer anything for RK tractors, so I am charting new territory.)

Picked up the steel yesterday. Made the ripper itself last night (out of 3/4 x 6).
After spending 4 hours between a cold-cut saw, angle grinder, and sawz-all, I was really wishing for a waterjet, but I got'r done!
It's a little hard to see in the pictures, but all the teeth and the rear hook are tapered to an edge in the center of the material thickness.

Tonight I will be working on the top plate, gussets, and the mounting plates with the pin holes.
Time permitting I might get some of the welding done this evening also.
Will have less than $150 in it once it's all said and done.

Out of curiosity, for anyone that has a ripper, how thick is it?
I decided to go with 3/4" for mine. One thing's for sure, I'll never break it!

^^ Posting that could lead to some rather serious legal troubles.
This is for my own personal use. I'm not selling them. Also, I'm fabricating this for my RK tractor, which they currently offer no products for. Being that the only thing I did was trace the profile, and then also change the profile somewhat on mine, I'm not duplicating any product of theirs. I'm not even sure something as common and simple as a tooth pattern on a backhoe ripper could be patented.

Not for personal use.
If it was a copyrighted or patented design made for sale then , yep.

WOOHOOO, finally got my email that my order has shipped. I ordered 4/17, so exactly 28 days. I got the hydraulic test kit and the PTB. I told them I wanted to use 3"edge tamer with the PTB. Not sure if they already fit, or mine had to be specially made.
But, it should be here by end of day tmrw.
Very happy
